Popovich: Ginobili will not travel to new orleans, will be reassessed upon team's return.

I wouldn't read too much into it.. yet. The Spurs play a road/home b2b Wed/Thurs, so the team may just be looking to save him from the travel wear and tear right off the bat. Danny Green gets the extra burn.

i will tell you this...he slipped in my draft and was on the board (i think) in rd 7. I am still glad I passed on him (took mo williams instead)

I love Ginobili but I have learned over the years that the upside risk/reward of taking injury prone players later in their careers is not worth it.  Not to mention the fact that Pop will be resting players throughout the year for the playoffs...stay away!

Typical Ginobili but I can't stay away from him, guy is just dynamite in roto when he does play.
