Hedo Turkoglu underwent surgery this morning to repair a broken bone in his left hand. He'll be out at least 4 weeks.

A few different directions the Magic could go, but regardless of the specifics the main benefactors will be J.J. Redick, Mo Harkless, and E'Twaun Moore.

Redick makes for the add here, and he should be a very good rotation player in standard leagues for the next month or so. Harkless can get a look if you are in a really deep league - he's expected to be active on Sunday.

In my 20 teams league, I just picked Harkless as he is the only SF in Orlando now that Turkoglu is injured.

Mbuser would you rather own redick or afflalo?

Afflalo, his role is solid whether Hedo is healthy or not.

How about Afflalo or George Hill

That comes down to team needs, they are similar enough in overall impact.

Anyone know anything about Mo Harkless? I've read that the Magic staff are excited about him but does anyone know what type of player he is? What stats could he bring to the table? thanks

Good potential for some defensive numbers, raw offensively so the more transition opportunities the better. Don't count on good percentages.

Hi guys, with this new rotation sticking of  Jones, Redick, and Afflalo sharing the 2 and 3 spots, think Harkless can take advantage of Turk being out? Im not too worried aboout Jones but Im worried Moe wont get minutes

Any update on when he's coming back.  Can't seem to find anything on the net. Just picked him up in our 20 team league.

No recent updates. Last we knew, he was expected to miss another month or so after being re-casted in mid-November, so as of now the expectation is that he'll return within the next few weeks.

Worth a pick up now? Or too early? He just had limited practice so he should be back soon.

Who would you drop? What settings? Hedo is a fringe option in standard leagues as an inefficient source of some counting stats.

With Mo Will out and quite frankly I've been really tired of his injury prone ways, would you drop Mo Will to pick up Hedo? PG's are dried up in my league and I would like to keep up in assists. Thoughts?

I would not. Hedo is a fringe. low-ceiling option and my guess is that there are better players available. In any case, I'd wait for the MoWill specific update.

I am considering the drop of Byron Mullens for Hedo; considering my current lineup, would this be a good move?
