From RotoWire:

Dudley scored just two points on 1-for-4 shooting, chipping in two steals, a rebound and an assist, in 25 minutes of court time Friday.
Spin:
He did a good job defensively as his Pistons counterpart Rodney Stuckey actually scored fewer points than he did, but through two games this season it appears as though Dudley and Michael Beasley may be fighting for the same shots. If that's the case Dudley's likely to get the short end of the stick more often than not, and after three straight seasons in which he boosted his scoring average he may be hard-pressed to keep his points per game in double digits.

What are the thoughts around here?
Buy low?
Worth a pick up in 9cat/12team?

Buy low with what? His best-case was UTIL help with some threes and efficiency - the ceiling here was/is not high.

You are right Matt, buy low is probably not the case here...I am just wondering if you still think his pre-season projections are still valid?...if yes, surely he deserves a spot in a 12 team league...

Beasley averaged only 25 mpg in the first 2 games, so idk how much he's really taking from Dudley.  Dudley had a real stinker, but it was one game.  Agree that his upside is pretty limited, and in standard leagues it would be fine to drop him for a hotter hand, but I don't agree with some sudden projection of not averaging double digit points because of that one game.
