I'd wait a bit. Very undervalued PF. He should be capable to average double doubles.

wait until when? 1 month?

If you are not in a rush then hold him for a month. If you look at his stats, I feel like he is approaching his prime. His Pts/Rebs and Minutes were going up consistently. Avg'd Double Doubles the last two seasons.
Brook Lopez is out performing most projections, I don't expect it to last and I think Humphries will be more relevant in the near future.

thanks for the replys guys. im going to keep big hump for a bit longer. i think he can turn it around too
0% Agree (0 votes) |
I'm considering dropping him too, and I'm not sure the outlook is so positive.
The Nets seem pretty intent on running everything through Lopez. Blatche competing for his minutes for the rest of the season doesn't bode well at all either. And this is all happening with Gerald Wallace limited. It's crazy for the Nets to give up on giving Hump a real role when he was improving every year and performing well, but they just seem to have zero commitment to getting him minutes. They were also a thinner team last year when he got a lot of run. This situationisn't looking so hot IMHO.

idmachine, who are you gonna pick up to replace him?
0% Agree (0 votes) |
That's the problem, hard to justify the drop when I drafted him in the 7th round. But right now I'm thinking Vucevic, or throwing caution to the wind and grabbing Sanders or Seraphin. I don't know how much longer any of those guys are gonna be available on the wire in my league.

9 pts, 7 reb about halfway through 1Q in Miami tonight. Good sign.

is humphries teasing us, sort of telling us to hold? He gave double double production today, but that should be a given and I was expecting that kind of production dating back to the last game because Wallace was out.

But 24 minutes? I'm not sure what Avery has against him..
0% Agree (0 votes) |
Its not 1st time Avery is screwing up with some one when is obvious he need (and deserve) to play if not big,big minutes then decent one, I do not have Hump in any team but this is BS what he is doing with him.

I benched Humphries for Carl Landry yesterday -_- I'm glad it worked out for me. But it seems like Humphries is beginning to work for his minutes. The Nets are still transitioning, I think by end of the year, we'll know what the deal is with Humphries minutes situation.
