Josh Smith will play vs. Pacers.

Nets forward Gerald Wallace (ankle) will miss tonight's game against LeBron, Heat:

Hornets rookies Anthony Davis (concussion) and Austin Rivers (sprained left index finger) are both out for tonight's game vs. 76ers.

Kyle Lowry (ankle) - listed as doubtful at this point, but apparently not so serious that he's yet to be officially ruled out. More info is expected as the day progresses.

Danny Granger - he's out as much as three months after a knee treatment. More details expected to come, but he's not coming back soon in any case.

Tyler Zeller - out indefinitely (broken orbital bone, concussion symptoms)

Kyle Lowry (sprained ankle) will receive more treatment on Wednesday, and he's not expected to play against the Mavericks. http://www.rotoworld.com/player/nba/1269/kyle-lowry

Elton Brand out for Mavs Wednesday night, his wife is having a baby. That's about as legit a reason as there is. Should be back Friday.

Brandan Wright and Jae Crowder are going to play a lot tonight.

David Lee and Jarrett Jack skipped shootaround. They have the flu. Their status tonight vs. Cleveland is uncertain

Carl Landry, Harrison Barnes, Charles Jenkins would be in line for the respective minutes.

With the news about the flu. Would you start Landry or Bogut for tonight's game against Cleveland?

I feel like Landry would have an easier time playing against Tristan Thompson than Bogut going against Varejao.

If Lee is out, then Landry absolutely should be started. Bogut is only going to play so many minutes, it's not so much about how easy it will be for him.

I am on the brink of picking up Jonas Jerebko.  Comon Frank, do you really want Tayshaun Prince in the starting lineup.

I'm going to start Landry over Bogut. Gambling that Landry will get more than 20 minutes because Lee will be out or play less.. Bogut did pretty well last game though :(

Wilson Chandler out because of the Nuggets' back-to-back. Plan on him sitting one this weekend, as well (Fri/Sat).

will start Josh McRoberts at SF tonight in place of rookie DeQuan Jones.

Am I correct to assume Chandler's absence boosts Faried today?

Faried and Brewer should soak up the minutes for Chandler.

hawks shake up lineup tonight, Josh at SF, Horford at PF and Zaza at C (w/ Teague and Korver). That's lineup I was hoping for opening night

I'll be intersted to see how they open and how many minutes DeShawn Stevenson gets in this arrangement.

If it sticks Zaza might become rosterable, at least in deeper leagues.

Teague only played 26 mins in the first 2 games, off early with just 1 foul here.  Looks like 33 min per game may be on the optimistic side.

Lopez has only played 6 minutes so far and he isnt in foul trouble, anything happen? Who gets value besides humphries if he goes down for some reason? Blatche and Mirza? More on blatche?

Just saw on stat tracker that he entered the game, he must be ok. Just found it wierd that he had so little minutes as compared to the other starters

@odin426, I was wondering that about Lopez as well. Didn't see anything regarding an injury though so should be okay. Hopefully he picks it up now

When are the Hawks going to realize that sitting Teague on the bench is not good for them?

Jarrett Jack and David Lee, both with flu, are here at arena. Gotta believe they wouldn't have shown up unless they're playing.

Any info on Pek? Not a lot of minutes and only 2 fouls. Is he being sat cause it's a blow out?

edit: nvm ignore me. I'm tired and was looking at Nikola Vucevic's line instead. lolhammer

I haven't been able to watch--is Pek that bad of a rebounder? He can't grab 10 even while Love is out?

Samuels playing well, how bad is Varajao hurt? Think it could be a lingering injury? Even if hes healthy think he'll get around 25 min with Zeller injured? Drop Harkless for him? Sorry this wasnt supposed to be an add drop question but Id like to know some opinions on him moving forward with Varajaos and Zellers states. Thanks

@fromak: Last year I picked up Pek and he was a rebounding machine while love was there so I do find it weird. But tonight he only got 25 minutes which is because of the scoreline I think so dont think we can really judge how many he can get in a more competitive game....

most practical thing i take from the CLE injuries is the fact that tristan thompson is now going to be clocking in the minutes. tough for FT% but this may be the beginning of a mini breakout. imo.
