You have Cousins labeled as a Breakout Candidate looking at Goran Dragic's numbers should he have the same lablel? 0% Agree (0 votes) |
Absolutely. Although personally I think DeMarcus Cousins broke out last season.
Kenneth Faried going 13/9 on 59% shooting in 28 minutes would also be a big breakout as well.

Dragic has the opportunity to fully blow-up in PHX this year. He'll be in an uptempo system surrounded by a really solid group of veteran players - Gortat, Scola, Dudley, Brown and some talented high lottery picks with a lot to prove - Beasley & Wes Johnson. I expect him to at least match his HOU stats for the games that he started while Lowry was out. Top 20 upside here.

How come nobody comments much on Dragic with the Phoenix Suns? Hehe.
Could he improve on his numbers from Houston? Or should we expect a decline?

He's a young, ascending player on an uptempo & PG friendly team, who is locked into heavy minutes. Crazier things have happened but, minus an injury, I would be shocked to see a decline in his #'s from when he started in HOU.

I was definitely wrong on this one. Dragic's play has obviously picked up as of late (when Hunter isn't benching him for no reason) but he really started out the season pretty terribley. The mess that is the Phoenix Suns organization certainly didn't help but I thought this guy had a legit shot at top 20 value for the season. Hopefully this will cause his ADP to drop substantially, making him a real bargain for next season.
