what is going on?  Past 3 seasons he's around 49%FG, 75% FT,  now he's 39% and 50%!!!  He's the worst player on my team with Yahoo ranking 200+, and I spent second round pick on him!  I'm stashing him for now, but with Felton, Jack, and I Thomas as PG on my team, it's killing me!

Yeah, it's early but Lawson has been a downer so far. It should make you feel a bit better that his usage and counting stats are right in line with expectatons, but obviously the %s are horrific. All his jumpshooting numbers are way down, but it's not unrealistic to expect them to come back up to normal before long.

Ty Lawson's MRI was good -- the results were "clean," and he'll keep getting treatments and will be a game-time dec vs Min on Thurs

Very good news...

Hey all,

how do you feel for Lawson for rest of the week and PO?

if he doesn't play tomorrow, we will have then 1 game this week and 3 games next week... time to drop?

I still have some players as FA, like Delfino, T.Allen, J.Butler, J.Salmons, J.Kidd, A.Anderson, B.Wright, E.Brand, S.Livingston, K.Singler, CJ Miles, M.Dunleavy, A.Bradley, J.Terry

who would you pick? name 2 please!

With 14 games tomorrow, you'll likely have someone to take his place in your active roster, anyway. If you eventually drop him (or anyone else), then team needs, your opponent strength/weaknesses, and player schedules should be the deciding factors for who you add.

Lawsons foot doesn't sound too good. Andre Miller a must start now? Should I burn my #1 waiver priority on him?

Miller is a must-start any time Lawson doesn't play, that's for sure. And it's hard to know how long Lawson will be out because of the varying degrees of this injury (officially day-to-day), but his coming back quickly seems unlikely. Of course, we've also heard that recently when it didn't apply.

It should be noted that the Nuggets only play three times over the next 11 days (after tonight), so you aren't going to get a lot out of Miller even if Lawson is out for those three games.

Have Lawson in H2H semis next week. Any chance he plays regular time or is this going to last well into next week?

Hard to say, but my confidence level in things should be reflected by my dropping him for O'Quinn in the only h2h league where I had him.

what is everybody's feeling here with Ty?

I read he expects to play a "couple" of games before the playoffs, but DEN has back to back on next sunday and monday. could we see him sooner in your minds?

thanks

This quote really doesn't inspire confidence, even if he's active for a few games:

“I think he should play (before the playoffs start),” Nuggets coach George Karl said. “It might not be 100 percent. He has to learn how to play when it’s 70 or 80 percent. Can we get 25 minutes a game out of him? You don’t want to determine that in the first two games of the playoffs.”

Ty Lawson is still dealing with his heel injury, but did participate in practice today, though played “OK, nothing much more than OK,” coach George Karl said. “I don’t think he took many chances, but he did run up and down the court. He doesn’t seem like he was confident. Knowing Ty, he probably wouldn’t try (overly aggressive play) until he’s in the game. If he wants to play, I’d probably give him a 15-20 minute window.”

So if he is active soon, he won't play a lot.
