Rotoworld is saying he sprained his ankle. Did anyone watch the game? How bad was it? 0% Agree (0 votes) |

Check the daily thread. Didn't look good but Adelman said Pek told him he was okay after the game. Take that all with a grain of salt and look for an update tomorrow.

For the past handful of games (with Love back at full strength), Pek has been averaging around 13 FGA per game, along with 14ppg, 10rpg, and 34mpg. Tonight, he played less than 30 minutes and only took seven shots. Did anyone see why he played less? It could have been an anomaly, but it could have been something that will affect the future. Any thoughts?
Is 14/10 on 33-35mpg sustainable for the rest of the year? 0% Agree (0 votes) |
One thing I hadn't seen--- T'Wolves were up by 18 at half. He might have just lost late minutes because the game was put away.

Love and Pekovic both sat the 4th quarter.

i don't think the post-love-return productivity can be sustained, and i'm quite disappointed in pek's production overall. of all the current starters on my team, he's the one who has underperformed his draft position by the biggest margin. he's def not providing 6th round value. i've even considered benching him. Bus, you have him on a bunch of teams, right? what's your take?

6th round value? Do you know where he is drafted, his ADP? Not even close at 6th round (maybe you pick him overthere but thats another story).

well, that was the bbm stance on him. and i believe bus was picking him up in 6th/7th in his leagues

Buser, is a double-double average out of the question?

I wouldn't count on 10+ boards.

Both? If we're talking a standard league, they both should be rostered. I'd call Pek a bit safer option since it's Skiles that we're dealing with.

If pek misses time who do you see as the best pick up and how good of a pick up will he be? Thinking of being proactive if it's a good pick up and dropping gee or marcus Morris.... Thanks!!!

Nobody. Stiemsma/Cunningham/D.Williams would split up the minutes pretty evenly across the board.

Out 7-10 days
https://twitter.com/BloodStrib/statuses/292343102197350400
More immediate minutes for Stiesma (only other center) and other PFs (Cunningham, Williams, Amundson). They will also be signing someone new for 10 days.

What can we expect from Pekovic once Love is back (this year or next season) ? Higher FG% ? Less RB ? Same numbers ?

Good site for these stats: http://www.nba.com/advancedstats/
This season and last season stats say that Pek is productive when he's healthy and getting minutes, regardless of Love's availability.

Pekovic out tonight. Any word on the severity of his ankle injury?

Nope, late scratch.

Are late scratches typically less problematic? In other words, aren't late scratches usually minor injuries because the club would have announced the injury earlier if it were serious? I could be wrong, but this seems logical.
