Andrei Kirilenko Just had another amazing game tonite with 16pts/10reb/6ast/4blk.  Obviously he wont give you a line like this every night but pretty darn close. Im worried that once kevin love come back that his number may drop dramatically.  Would it be unrealistic that Kirilenko avg 10/5/3/1.5 once Love is back?

He will likely be spending most of his time as SF when Love comes back. I see him as a 15/5/5 guy

He is one of my biggest targets right now for my Rebs/Stls/Blks/fg%/TO h2h build.

I am worried about his productivity once Love and rubio come back though. Hopefully he will play so well without him that Adelman will keep his minutes strong when they return. He is beasting though right now

Andrei Kirilenko has played over 40 min in the last two games and with all the injuries to the T-Wolves I dont see his minutes going lower than 35 mpg.  While he is putting up fantastic numbers, I am a little worried that he may get injured soon.  So should I start shopping him or am I just getting all worked up for nothing?

Before this year's comeback AK had missed at least 10 games for 7 consecutive nba seasons.  His durability track record is not good.  Trying to find someone who will give full value on his per game rank right now would likely be a fine idea.

Sound logic to me thumbs up

I own AK in one league and I'm riding him until his wheels fall off.  I've gotten a few inquiries about him, which might suggest it would be smart to cash in on his hot start, but I really do think he can keep it up.  He's only averaging 34 minutes so far, a little above his career mark, but nothing a wily veteran like himself can't handle, and the Wolves are very thin right now so there's no reason to think his opportunity will go away anytime soon, save for injury.  He's been producing defensive stats like a stud so far.  Filter in only 3PTM, REB, STL, BLK, & FG% and AK comes in at 5th overall, and considering we drafted him around the 10th round, that's the kind of ROI that dreams are made of.

I agree with CAP.  I paid $1 for him at the very end of my auction.  In my league there is nothing more valuable than a $1 player with upside.  He's returning almost $40 value right now and I figure getting that for only half the season is well worth the gamble.  Additionally I could keep him at $6 next year if somehow he does hold it together all season.  I've always loved me some AK47 so I'm glad to see him producing at such a high level.

I actually think league settings make a huge difference in deciding what to do with AK right now.  In a H2H league it's much more reasonable to think of trading him now while his value's high, so you don't have to deal with the injury risk.  In a roto league however, you ride him until the wheels fall off.  He might miss 15 games at the end of the season, but he'll rack up tons of threes, steals, and blocks for you before then, and considering what we paid for him, those totals are a huge boost.

Back spasms!  I guess it was fun while it lasted.  Should we expect a crapshoot of his availability from now on?

Fingers crossed. Those big gaps in game logs from his most recent NBA seasons are certainly ominous.

Any news on his availability this week?  I don't make many great alternatives.  Basically its him, Ray Allen (3g), Amir Johnson (4), Shved (3).

Thoughts?

Adelman doubts Kirilenko (back spasms) will play at Philly tomorrow. Missed 2nd day of practice today.

Allen has been pretty good lately, I'd probably run with him.

Any chance he'll trend back up to his early season numbers with Love out again?

Yeah, probably. That is as long as he stays healthy. His production always seems to drop off after he injures his back or whatever else ails him.

Here's on/off stats for AK/Love this season: link

Amazing efficiency difference and more boards. But yes, with AK it's all going to come back to his being healthy.

Interesting that he actually gets less shot attempts when Love is on the bench.......
