"Another guy who's very good on the defensive end, especially picking up guys full court,'' Scott said in explaining his decision. "He's a very good man-on-man defensive player, pretty good off the ball as well, one of our best communicators on the floor. I think that helps our guys on both ends of the floor. "Offensively, I'm not asking him to do anything he can't do. I know he can run the show. I know he can push the tempo. I know he makes good decisions. If he has open shots, I want him to take them with confidence. "The game plan doesn't necessarily change. We just try to do it a little bit better." Scott admitted he thought about starting reserve Daniel Gibson at shooting guard and moving rookie shooting guard Dion Waiters over to the point, but decided to keep both in their original roles.

He'll get first crack at the starting gig, so we'll see what he can do with it. Starting off against Jrue Holiday will be an interesting litmus test.

Pretty good game, should be a popular pickup tonight.  Should I drop Calderon for him?  Up yes, down no.

I did. Calderon is marginal when Lowry is running in a standard league.

Pargo showed legitimate potential tonight. He was constantly driving and finishing well near the basket. Granted Philly doesn't have the greatest interior D, Pargo still looked strong.

Visions of Lester Hudson? May as well give him a run and see what happens. His 4-8 3PM is definitely legit potential.

Ended up dropping Beasley for him instead of Calderon, and I slept like a baby last night.  Still a bit worried about Calderon now that Lowry's back, but I'll give him a few more games, he's earned it by putting up elite #s lately.  Hopefully Pargo takes the reigns and runs with it until Irving gets back.
