Ugh, I need help. At the start of the season, i'd do that in a heart beat. But Martin has been a big suprize. I have a real assist issue, and don't know if steve is going to be as good as he used to...
So, should I trade my kevin martin for his steve nash?

I would never trade a heathy player for an injured player.
I wouldn't worry about assists, because your TOs are good. If you get Nash, your assists will y go up, but your TOs will go up too.
Short answer: No f-ing way.

No you shouldn't. Is there possibility to insert actual stats? Kevin Martin is great player for 9 cat for now. Projections are not reflect that. My suggestion - trade him, Curry or Bargniani to reduce overall injury risk. Nash, 38, turnover prone, is not a good target.

I'm new to the site...not sure about actual stats? Can anyone help with that? Because, ya, those don't seem very accurate.
Petrocelli, I agree about the injured vs not trades...but steve is on the very of coming back. Also, dispite what that chart shows, im not competitive in TOs. 3rd to last in the league as it stands. Also, man, D`Antoni/Nash with Dwight and kobe to dish too? He could average 14 assists a night.
Man, I know these two arn't game changers...but I think this trade...one way or another would make or break my team.
Right now, I win Treys, Points, Steals, and FT% without fear. I have lost FG%, assists, blocks and TO's each week and flip flopped on boards. I knew going in, that I'd lose blocks and FG%, but I need to get a stronger category either boards or assists.
I REALLY appreciate the input.

Your turnovers look more good than bad and Nash will dish 14 times per game (even 10) in very fantasy basketball, imho.

Is everyone really down on Nash this year? I just remember how he used to dominate and take over games. I was thinking great percents, 12 points, 12 assists, 3 boards, 1 steal, and like 2.5 tos as the lead of the D'Antoni offense
Does that really seem unreasonable?

Enough pick&rolls will go through Kobe to keep Nash's assists in check, relatively speaking. You might want to re-familiarize yourself with Nash's lines, things like 12:2.5 AST:TO and 1.0 stl just aren't going to happen.
What is your overall team strategy? Seems to me that you are are a few moves away from an excellent punt AST squad.

Well, I went in with a Punt blocks idea. It's a keeper league, with 5 keepers.
LMA, Al Jefferson, Curry, Gay and Conoly were my keepers. I took Barganini and Kev Mart hoping to solidify FT% with their impact. All my guys seem to have a hard time getting the ball in the hole at the start of the season. So, I lose FG% by ALOT, and again, TOs have been insanely bad so far. so, i'm bareley getting by with 5/4 or 4/5 weeks.
You think my assist are so far gone it doesn't make sense to chase them? I was targeting some assist makers like Nash or Rubio. Like a rubio for Bargnani, trying to get that to go over the kev mart. So, it sounds like, holding Kevin, rather than chasing Nash is the better route to go.
So, if Seriphin sticks...I could go for boards..and give up on assists....maybe that's the way to go....

Well, you've obviously got a plan and a few moves would likely take care of AST, as well, so I wouldn't say you absolutely need to do an about-face. But the problem with chasing a guy like Rubio "because he gives you lots of AST" speaks directly to the pitfalls of the category - his line has some serious negatives otherwise, so you sacrifice elsewhere to prop up those AST/STL but are thinking your team is automatically a lot better.
