A frustrated Andrew Bogut told reporters Tuesday that no timetable has been set for his return, but the Warriors center definitely ruled out Saturday. He also acknowledged that he may have set himself back by trying to play on his still-healing ankle at the outset of the season.
Mistery for me after 1/3 of missed games in last 4 yrs people still bying him to stay healthy...

I drafted him at 81 in a 16 team league. So I am stuck with hope. Besides he is a top talent at least I hope he is. We are talking a return soon whether next week or the next.

And tell me HF how many games he will play till next period of time missing 2,3 weeks or months?
He was rehabing more than a year and situation is like he got the injury one month a go not 15 months a go.
Like with NeNe, waiting one month from him to play 2 games with 20min and then again to sit who knows how much more
and all that circle to repeat again and again... Those players are not worth any risk, no matters how much talent they have
they cant have any consistency being on court healthy, they are always something with them.

Toni, if he's sitting on the wire then he's literally of no cost to you. Do you take a chance on the possibilty of 12/10/2 or grab yet another random scrub with no ceiling? Nobody is sitting here saying that there are guarantees of production, but at some point taking a chance on him becomes a bit better than stupid.

Thats fine Matt, understand what you are saying but how about: taking "the chance" year after year and not getting squat for that?
For me it worth nothing if "they" can average TD's like Big O if they cant stay on court.
I'm all for upside but when is reallity to get something concrete, we all know what we can get from guys like Bogut,NeNe,Bynum and not to name all others too-MISSED GAMES. Facts are facts,do not want to writte em again (how many %'s of missed games in career, its always same story).

When I drafted Bogut at 81 in the BOSF league, he was borderline to play in the olympics. I wonder why the Warriors and Bucks lied about his procedure? He was a Buck when he had the microfracture surgery then traded to the Warriors knowing he was done for last year. Why now say oh it was microfracture surgery and not the other lesser procedure we were saying since last February? I can't even remember last February's official treatment. Still I consider Bogut worth of a hold in a 226 player owned league until the other shoe drops. The problem with microfracture surgery is they never seem to heal totally always leading to the same procedure over and over again. Another guy who scares me is Anthony Davis. Stress reaction is the precursor for microfracture surgery.

He is gonna be out for a while..
Andrew Bogut (ankle) had microfracture surgery in April, sources tell the Contra Costa Times.
Well then. That news is certainly helpful in explaining why Bogut's road to recovery has been so slow, but it doesn't make us feel any better about his outlook. Bogut had a "minor" cartilage issue in his ankle and it was addressed with "a form of microfracture surgery," while the major part of the surgery was to clean out debris. The Warriors are not providing a timetable for his return, and there is no reason to own him right now. Nov 28 - 9:26 AM
