Has replaced Jonas Jerebko in the Pistons' rotation and put together a nice line tonight: 21 min, 7-8 FG, 4-5 3pm, 19 pts, 6 reb, 1 blk. Worth keeping an eye on for deeper purposes, as he's got a history of doing good things with limited minutes. This week's numbers:

It would be nice if more than 1 Piston had a good game at a time.

I'm in a really deep league, and need 3 and points pretty bad. Anybody thinks he can keep this up? 0% Agree (0 votes) |

He's most certainly worth a look, given the context. As of now, he's really only competing with Jason Maxiell for minutes.

Drummond out 4-6 weeks, and the first game he's out fully Villanueva played 33 minutes and took 15 shots! What are his numbers going to be going forward? i think he gets the minutes, but shot attempts are probably at around 10-12 a game.

The numbers will be there if he gets the minutes, the Jerebko DNP-CD was a surprise.

You like him over Nicholson, Buser?

With roughly equal minutes, yes. Much different strengths and weaknesses, though.

And Nicholson likely has a better line on minutes for the remainder of the year. Drummond is coming back in 4-6 weeks and Glen Davis could very likely miss the remainder of the season. Plus, as mentioned, the Jerebko DNP-CD really was not expected.

So that makes consecutive DNP-CDs for Jerebko..

I'm hoping for more DNP-CD for Jerebko. I added Charlie V in both of my leagues

I've been adding Charlie No-brows everywhere I can. With Drummond out, he is gonna soak up most of those available minutes. This guy is gonna be raining 3's and doing a little bit of everything else. Detroit is thin and he has opportunity. PICK HIM UP NOW!

People seem to be a little slow and want to see him do it more, he's done it before. Two games was enough for me, do yourself a favor and add him if u have the space.

Would you add Lavoy Allen or Charlie V?
Or drop Matt Barnes and add both?

Allen's insane numbers will prove to be the exception, not the rule.

As soon as Drummond went out, I picked up Charlie V. A big man with treys is very valuable.

I bid aggressively in FAAB for Charlie V and won him today. This is often the kiss of death.

20mins and 7 shots today. Some justification for the 'wait and see' crowd I reckon.

Nah, he's a shooter. He won't shoot .500% or better every night. On the nights he's hit he'll get 24+ min. The nights he's not he'll get 16-20 min. At least that's what I hope

In H2H you can roll the dice like that. In roto, you want a bit more consistancy from your starts. Just another reason why roto is for the purists and H2H is for the great unwashed.

I'm not sure how much consistency can be expected from waiver wire fodder. Though I am suspecting a bit of trade deadline showcasing.
