Is there any reason why Telfair plays so much? Come on, Dragic is obviously their best player on the entire team, and he's benched during 4th Q regularly? How do these coaches keep their jobs?

I share your frustration. Telfair is bad for a 2nd string PG. Dragic is still returning great value vs. his ADP in most leagues and you have to believe that his minutes will return to the 33-35MPG range sooner than later.

Yeah, I wouldn't be overly concerned as of yet. Dragic was at 33mpg as of those 16 min in the blowout loss to the Pistons.

I don't see how their shutting down a completely healthy player is possible. It would be unprecedented and would certainly draw the ire of the league.

The move did not sit well with the players, either:

The timing and the idea of holding out Goran Dragic, the Suns’ best player coming off his best game, for the past two nights said something to fans and players about the lack of importance to win for a last-place team. Dragic did not want to sit out. He was told to sit and it is not like when a 38-year-old Steve Nash did it to save his body for a playoff push. The Dragic move privately disturbed some Suns who have been trying to adhere to the mantras for all-out effort, no excuses and a winning culture.

The Spurs was fined earlier for sitting some healthy stars. BUT the Suns is sitting a healthy Dragic for draft jockeying position. The Lakers owe the Suns their first round pick. So Dragic sat against the Jazz to let the Jazz hopefully get the 8 playoff spot and move the Laker pick to the lottery. This troubles me for many reasons. Throwing games is just wrong. Huge difference in tanking and "picking" ur spot to lay down. Tanking u lose against everybody to improve ur draft balls. The Suns are double tanking? Losing helps their draft pick slot. Plus the Lakers losing helps their other draft pick slot. What pisses me off the most though is their excuse. They say they finally want to see if kendall marshall has any talent. All freaking year this guy sat behind Telfair or was in the D-League. Now a week left in the season they finally want to give him a chance? When can we start Dragic with any confidence? Do the Suns really think they can turn tanking on and off? Not trying ur best just seems wrong.

I will second pkash. Any ideas on what to do with him? In semis next week and considering cutting him. Others' thoughts?

Playing today, so keep him.  No idea whether I can trust him in a weekly league next week, though, if I do manage to move on.  With only three games, a single DNP would really sap his value, but I might need his assists.
