Hey, so i'm not putting this in the Up/Down thread because I could use some more in depth analysis. Allen is 87% owned in yahoo yet his minutes have been steadily declining it seems, and he hasn't even been hitting that many threes. Is he worth keeping? I feel like I am holding on to him just because his name is Ray Allen. Currently Jodie Meeks is on the waiver wire in my league and he could possibly make a powerful impact with 3's in the starting lineup. So what's the right move here, i've made some poor snap judgments this year when picking up and dropping players and don't want to do the same with Ray because chances are someone will put a waiver on him as soon as i drop him.

Allen is fifth on the team in minutes over the past two weeks, but the problem has been that they have been going a consistent 10 deep. There's a chance that somone else on your team is a better drop, but I'm not going to fault you for grabbing Meeks on the uptick. Allen only has real upside with a Wade injury, while Meeks could really go nuts as the starter. And if he's still available, then garbbing FA shouldn't be a problem for you moving forward.

Thanks Matt. I'm also considering dropping Rodney Stuckey but he's been way more consistant than Ray Allen lately. But those are my bottom 2 right now.

I'm on the flip side of this. Someone else dropped Ray Ray and Im wondering how much he's worth. At the very least Im gonna pick him up and try to flip him while his name still has value.
