I dont trust
being back this season, but thats a matter of opinion not fact. Can Mack beat out
as the starter? Wasnt very effective later in the season... 0% Agree (0 votes) |

That scenario is not completely unlikely, as Price is certainly nothing special.

Have you seen him play Matt? What would your projection be if he was the starter and got decent to heavy minutes? Just wondering what his upside would be IF Wall is out the season or most of it and he beats out Price. Thanks!

I think Mack will make a bit of noise, but even if he starts, the order of usage in the Wizard's backcout is Crawford, Beal... ... ...Mack, so don't get too excited.

WIth major minutes he could provide some AST and STL, but low %s and little production elsewhere would make up for it for the most part.

I'm thinking if he gets 28-30 mins he can produce 11-13 points 1.2 threes, 2-3.5 rebounds, 6 assists, 1.4 steals shoot 42% and 75% ft? Around 2.3 to? Think that's realistic?

Saw that they also signed Garrett Temple. Ive never heard of him but I checked out his game log and he seems to rebound well and have good D stats (1.2 stls and .8 blocks) esp for a PG, Who do you think is better him or Mack? Shot 44.23% and 72.5% from the line in 10 D-League games thinking of dropping Bledsoe see which one makes an impact since Bledsoes minutes seem to be going down with odoms increasing....

Mack and Temple both signed on Tuesday, participated in practice shortly thereafter and will be expected to play significant roles for a team that has been decimated by injuries.
“We’re going to throw them to the wolves right away, see what they can handle, what they can do,” Wittman said. “For the first day, they didn’t struggle too bad.”
Wittman acknowledged that Mack probably has the initial advantage over Temple, since the Wizards’ second-round pick from 2011 is already more familiar with the system and the personnel after being with the team all of last season and through training camp.
