Really, the best thing helping his value now is the fact that I dropped him last week... since then I he's been on fire.

Maybe Vasquez gets a few more clean looks from three? Otherwise he should stay fairly stable.

Eric Gordon's shooting percentage might help Vasquez more than Rivers? More assists converted?

Rivers' game is very ISO-heavy and his spot-up numbers actually aren't terrible, so I don't see much impact there.

You really don't think it will affect Vasquez at all?
Gordon is a very ball dominant player who will be taking the ball out of Vasquez's hands a lot of the time. A lot of the offense will be initiated by him (even if he doesn't bring the ball up himself).
While I still like Vasquez you have to think he takes at least a slight hit.
As for Rivers' value, you can't hurt what doesn't exist

Vasquez's per-game rank on the season is 148, and that's what I don't see changing much: his fantasy impact. Will Gordon take the ball out of his hands a bit? Yes. Could he get more looks from three playing off the ball? Yes. Should it help Vasquez that they are replacing a waste of possessions (Rivers) with actual production? Yes. Do I see it all essentially being a wash when it's said and done? Yes.

sidenote, filter out blocks and turnovers, and vasquez clocks in a 60 overall right now. that is all.

Yeah, that big bright green (AST) definitely works in his favor when you start eliminating his worst cats. Andre Drummond is 35th when you eliminate FT% and PTS. Byron Mullens is 52nd when you remove FG% and AST.

I like eliminating one or two negatives for lesser value players just to see how they fit on my team. it's really a dwight howard routine to a much lesser extent. i mean, if leaving out turnovers alone drops vasquez's rank from 148 to 83 then i really think he has more value than is perceived.

Hornets fan here, and I think Vasquez's assists will definitely go down. Buse is right that he could get better looks from 3, and maybe it offsets his lower assists, but I think Gordon will definitly impact Vasquez's #'s. I'm not a big fan of Grevis' real life game, and personally I think he's one of the 2 worst starting PG (not talking about injury replacements and would prob be the worst if Keith Smart wasn't such an idiot) in the league but his assist #'s have been ridiculous this year. Plus, Monty is convinced that Rivers will be a PG, so I expect to see alot of Rivers/Gordon down the stretch so his min could begin to trend lower once Gordon starts playing full time. But what are the odds of that?
