Is he actually starting in KLove's spot tonight??  At $3500 he seems like an absolute auto-start if that's the case.............

Yet to be confirmed, but that's what their play-by-play guy is saying.

Porter sounded like he's considering replacing Dante in the starting lineup with Derrick. His pause in discussing that is new

Love is out for the next two months, so this would definitely perk things up for him. I'm not going overboard with expectations here, but deep-leaguers will want to be on board if (1) he starts and (2) holds down a consistent 30+ mpg.

I hope he does.  I don't have a lot of faith in him, although initially I thought he was going to be very good.  Instead he has struggled to find a position for which he can score and defend.  He hasn't performed well even when given the chances in the past (see first time Love was out).  Perhaps AK47 can help him out on some assignments.  Prove me wrong DWill.  Don't become a Michael Beasley number two.  It's kinda strange how similar those two guys are.  Can't blame the wolves for acquiring either of those guys, but strange how they are both so similar and haven't worked out in the NBA yet.

Maybe in terms of size and offensive game they're similar, but D-will and Beasley are worlds apart. D-will is a smart player who has the ability to play with a team very well, I think he proved that in college. Beasley has neither of those traits. It's a matter of time with him, I think he just needs consistent time to play to learn how to play in the NBA. I think as the season goes on and the Wolves continue to skid without Love, they'll eventually stop playing Dante Cunningham for 35 minutes a game and let D Will have his run.

Realistic expectations from him ROS? I understand he is getting more run and usage right now due to injuries, but he also looks to be playing with confidence that I haven't seen from him before. Based on this I have to think he will still get a solid run going forward, even when they get healthier. He still doesn't have the most fantasy friendly game yet...but it seems to be improving. Is it realistic to expect them to find him 25 min or so even when/if the Wolves get healthier?

I just adjusted the MIN rotation, and I'd call his current projection realistic. The problem with finding him 25+ minutes when everyone is healthy is that there is no question that the currently injured players directly affect his playing time (Love PF, AK SF, Budinger SF). He's playing a ton and playing much better now, no question, but how the rotation shakes out over the final month is a guessing game. I did give it my best shot..

Those do seem reasonable, and it really is an educated guess on how things play out over the last 3-4 weeks with their rotation. Appreciate the response and updated projections.
