I find the word "desperate" quite hillarious when alluding to owners in need of a category. I get a weird image in my head of a cartoonish loser crouched down in a Smeigel-like position, sweating profusely and with a funny caption illustrating how pathetically desperate he is. I hope that sounded more funny than weird.

But 2.5 blocks in 25 minutes is not a joke if you need it....I just hope he gets this playing time...

Hey, I'll tell you what. If you want tons of blocks in the short term, look no further than Chis Johnson. I'd rather add him than Steimsma.

As crazy as it sounds, in his 91 career games, Stiemsma's per-36 minute averages include 8.0 PTS, 7.7 REB, 1.4 STL, and 3.8 BLK (and 6.5 FLS), so it's a valid question considering he could be starting for the Wolves as long as Love is out, but really, he'll be lucky to see 20 minutes a game regularly, and with that foul trouble his upside is severely limited.  The deeper the league however, the more interesting he gets.
