What do you think Lillard's ceiling will be on POR? I can't think of a past rookie PG to compare him to, since his college game seemed completely centered around scoring. His projection of 14.5/3.6/5.7 seems reasonable, but I know that in the past POR has been very slow paced and somewhat unfreindly to PGs under Coach Nate. I got burned last year by Felton (probably due to him showing up to camp wayyy overweight), but I'm wary of drafting POR PGs now.
Any thoughts on how Lillard will fare under Terry Stotts? 0% Agree (0 votes) |
I personally expect good things from Lillard this year. Stotts is already on record as saying the offense will be less methodical and more loose and fast. This will only help Lillard.

I think the BBM projections for Lillard are a little under what I expect for him (especially in points and 3s, I think like 16 points and 1.8 3s is more likely).
That said, his ADP is not leaving a ton of room for upside imo.

from my experience with rookie pgs...i would think about 43% fg 80+% ft .8 3's 12ppg 2.5reb 4+ ast .8stl .2 blk 3to isn't out of the question..but who knows...although rarely has a shoot first pg really come in and put up huge huge numbers in their rookie year..

Been looking real good in preseason. Like him in round 7.

I just got him in a round 7 in the first year of a dynasty league. I'm debating on how big a contract to offer him. We get to offer players 2 contracts over the course of their tenure with the team and a 6 year max on contracts. Based on the amount of years you offer that's how much you have to pay them a year, so 1 year is $1 and 6 years is $6 per year. I'm thinking 3 years to start and if he's worth it, a 6 year after that, and I'm thinking of backloading his first contract so it's $2-$2-$5 and he's not a huge burden in years 1 and 2.
As I'm fairly new to fantasy basketball any thoughts are appreciated.

What is your salary cap? In general, you have to assume that Lillard will be worth keeping around for a long time.

The cap is $50
