A lot seems to be made about Favors this year and he's been drafted around No. 100. 

However (if I'm reading the projections right) B-Monster has him as the 150+th ranked player.  Likely due to his projected 27min/g which is less than what he was getting last season which was very close to 30min.

i am also interested in thoughts on favors. I have been targetting him in rds9-10 in mocks, and he has usually been available to me. Is he going to get 28 mpg or more this year? That is the big question obviously.

He has way more value in a keeper/dynasty league than a regular season draft league IMO.

Well he only actually averaged about 21 mpg last year.  23 post ASB.  His biggest mpg month was April, where he averaged 25 mpg in 13 games.

So I don't see how he was getting "very close to 30 mpg" last year, at least not in the regular season.  He did play more in the 4 playoff games, but that could have largely been due to the matchup with the Spurs (Millsap played alot too, and some at SF, in that series iirc).

He's 129 in the projections now with a slight bump today, but the modest 9-cat rank relative to the general hype has to do mostly with a low FT%. No doubt that he'll rack up defensive stats when he plays, though.

i'm not high on the guy..never have been...he needs to play a C..and only really can rebound/blocks..and he's on a team with a 3 other guys who can do what he does..but probably just as good or better..he needs a major injury to happen or a big trade

ya, it was the playoffs (29min) and I'm about to start Year 1 for a 12-team H2H Keepers League.

I think I've got Favors right around the No. 100 as he'll give me the REB and BLK I'm going for.   If his offensive game improves that will be a nice bonus.

I like Favors around pick 100, but I really wonder if he'll last that long very often. At least one person will be looking to reach in just about every draft.
