Sounds like Bosh will be playing C full-time this season. Does anyone think this will change his projections at all? I was thinking a slight uptick in fg% and boards. 0% Agree (0 votes) |
Although Bosh is "listed" as their centre, I don't think his game will change much. Most of their half court offense will revolve around James in the post or Wade slashing with them surrounded by shooters (Bosh included).

Anthony will still get some minutes. I imagine Josh Harrellson will eventually make the team, as well. The only situation where Bosh's numbers go up enough to register is a significant injury to Wade or LeBron.

I actually think you can safely project Bosh with at least 1 more REB if he plays almost exclusively at C. The sample size is small with him at C on MIA but I think his REB #'s went up significantly.

Yeah a RW blurb said he averaged 12 in a couple of starts at C. Can't really draw conclusions from such a small sample but it certainly seems the move won't do his numbers any harm. This, along with the fact that Wade is coming off knee surgery, tempts me to bump him up a couple of spots on my draft list.
I hear the Lebron/Wade usage argument though. He'll most likely turn out to be a steady, fairly boring mid-round pick.

Due to name recognition and All Star status, I think he generally gets taken a bit early. By that time in the draft, there are usually some picks I think have fallen way too far who I'd prefer to take. I'd be surprised if he winds up on a lot of strong teams.
