So JJ is gone, so more shots/ball handling for Teague..but now ATl has brought in Lou and Devin which means less ball handling for Teague..Also JJ's shooting range are gone meaning Teague is more of an offensive risk meaning he might be in the game less..not to mention less Teague assist going to JJ's scoring...

what do you guys think?

Personally the reason I got teague was stl and fg..although his stls can only stay same or increase his fg% might be going down due to being forced to shoot longer jumpers

who knows what will happen in the new hawks system after losing the central figure on their team, but from what i read, analysts think that teague will handle the ball more, shoot more, and assist more.

many of JJ's possessions were isolations, in which no one got an assist; whereas many think that the new hawks will be a drive and kick type of offense that generates more baskets and assists for the point guard.

well if they are playing that way..then the hawks needs more shooters..especially at the sg/sf spots...

They've got a distributor - Teague.

They've got 2 good inside guys - Horford & Smith.

They've got 2 spot up outside shooters - Anthony Morrow and Kyle Korver.

They've got Lou Williams, who I'm not 100% sure on but isn't he more of a slasher?

It's not a great lineup, but it does fit together well.  And whoever plays the role of distributor can do pretty well within it fantasy wise - there's no iso hogs on the team like JJ.  My only concern is will Devin Harris take away any of the distributor role from Teague (will they both be on the floor at the same time, will he steal minutes from Teague, etc)?

There are some risks with Teague.  But he's a 5th-6th round fantasy PG.  There's about 4 total 5th-6th round fantasy PGs (Teague, Lin, Jrue & Parker) which all have their issues/risks.

As well as Morrow and Korver, the Hawks drafted John Jenkins, one of the better shooters in the draft.  With Horford and Josh at the big man spots and shooters all over the floor, Atlanta is set up to be one of the most assist-friendly teams in the league, at least when Lou WIll isn't dominating the ball.  I expect Teague to do well next year.

Actually...the hawks have 3 of 4 of leagues BEST shooters. Morrow, Korver, Anderson, Jenkins(hes a rookie--but he is by far the best shooter to come into the league since Morrow). Any of those three can go 6/6 from three point land on a given night.

personally if horford and jsmith are my two "good" inside offensive guys then the team has problems...don't expect team many double teams coming to either of those guys meaning less open shots for the designated shooters..this also means def will let teague shoot it from far out..not sure if he can consistently produce from outside...offensively Lou will is by far and away a better player then Teague..and he has great Ast/To ratio

His numbers have been stellar in those limited minutes though.

He had a nice line tonight.  He will be solid this year.

The big minutes for DeShawn Stevenson are throwing things a bit out of whack. As mentioned, though, those lines have been excellent.
