I think Tony Allen will play more than 26 mins per this season. BBM have scheduled only 26 (same as last season), but he has no Mayo behind him anymore, and little G depth in Memphis. Am I crazy or does he stand a big chance to play 29 mins and lift his steals from 1.8 to 2.0? That would make him beyond handy. His 29 min production could be something like 12pts, 4.5rebs, 2 steals and 0.7 blcks

It's possible, but no sure thing imo.  Bayless is there and will absorb a decent portion of Mayo's role and minutes, with the main difference being that he'll play backup PG (Mayo only played backup PG as a last resort late last season).  Josh Selby is no lock for the regular rotation, but he will have the opportunity (after his co-league MVP of summer league showing), and if he can carve out a role it will be at backup SG.  Wayne Ellington is also new to the team and will play nearly all his minutes (however many or few they may be) at SG.  All 3 of these guys rate to offer some perimeter scoring and 3 point shooting, which is something the rest of the Grizz roster is somewhat weak on, so Hollins may decide to keep Allen's minutes about where they were last year and let the other guy(s) see time at SG to space the floor better, much as he did with the Mayo/Allen pair last year.
