Most people are projecting Marcus Thornton to have 4th or 5th round value this year, and basketball monster projects him to play 34 minutes per game. However, there have recently been rumblings that he may come off the bench for the Kings (hopefully in a Jason Terry type of role when he was on the Mavs).

Does anyone think this would reduce his playing time and consequently, his value? I'm not sure it will affect him too much (maybe slightly) but would be curious to see what other people have to say.

I definitely won't be picking him in the 4th round.  I'm worried about certain things like the emergence of thomas, aaron brooks coming in, and whether tyreke being moved to SF will work (or even happen).  Thornton produces when given minutes, but I'm just not sure he will get 34 a game.  I expect him to regress from what he did last year.
