Hello,
This is my first post. I play in a 20 teams league with 11 categories :
Points Threes Field Goal % Free Throw % Threes % Assists Steals Blocks Defensive Rebounds Offensive Rebounds Turnovers
I have the possibility to keep 1, 2 or 3 keepers which would be Millsap, Lawson, Kobe or Nash. What do you think ? Thanks for your time.

I think u have them listed right. Lawson then Millsap then Kobe. Nice start for a 20 team league. After the season starts I would trade Kobe. Nash will prolly be untradeable at his age. Even if u must keep Kobe he should have another year or 2 before he disappears.

I'm not sure I'd keep Kobe - he's a massive drag on 3P% which pushed him to 72nd in per-game in these settings last season. An idea who you might be able to draft if you only kept two?

Thanks for the replies. If I only kept two players, I think I will be able to get a Carlos Boozer, may be a Kevin Garnett or Pekovic but not sure at all...

Is it safe to expect 40-50 keepers? It's an interesting dilemma. These settings love KG, and Boozer has to be considered beside Kobe at worst, particularly if he benefits from Rose, Deng, and Asik being limited or gone. Past three seasons combined per-game ranks in these settings: KG 18, Booz 32, Kobe 63

Thanks for the answer mbuser. Indeed, we can expect 40 / 50 keepers in a 20 teams league. What I don't understand is how can Kobe be so far in the ranking... I mean, when I check the basketball monster rankings for these 11 categories, Kobe is 68 with Varejao #18, Steve Novak #49, Brandon Rush #46 all ahead of him.
The only explanation is that shooting percentages and turnovers killed Kobe value last season, but is safe to assume that he will bounce back in these categories with the help of Nash ?

Ok now if I punt the turnovers, Nash is #38, Kobe is #39... Hate this TO category anyway

Kobe is a huge drag on 3P% (32% over past 3 seasons at ~4.5 3PA per game), and that's not going to improve dramatically. And he'll fall somewhere between a decent-sized and big-time negative in FG%, as well.
