I am in a keeper league thus the only reason I picked him up with my last draft pick. Any chance he can provide a fantasy impact this year and make himself worthwhile to keep for next year? From all the research I have tried to dig up point to him not having any impact this year, any expertise or info you guys have that I don't? 0% Agree (0 votes) |

How many keepers? I've thought he was overrated from the outset, particularly with people assuming he'll be playing PG right away.

Thank you for the quick response :) We get to keep 3 total players drafted in 6th round or later. If I decide to drop him I am looking at these options off waivers.
Jason Thompson
Kirk Hinrich
Alonzo Gee
Jasin Kidd
Gerald Henderson
Robin Lopez
Marcus Camby
Richard Hamilton.

I doubt Rivers becomes keepable this year or next. I would drop him quick for Courntey Lee if u need a SG or Hinrich if u need a PG.

Wouldn't mind a Rip add, riding out whatever value he can give you while healthy. Gee has lost some luster as he'll be coming off the bench now with Waiters and CJ Miles starting. Don't see Rivers being relevant in a 3-keeper league for a while.

Hinrich should still start when Rose comes back correct?
