Keith Smart is saying that he wants more "versatility" (and fewer scorers) in the starting lineup, and Johnson has impressed this preseason. Kings fans seem to think it'll be Isaiah/Tyreke/JJ/Thompson/Boogie--signs point to a much larger role than 18 m/g.

I love James Johnson's boards, steals, and blocks, but he's a hard sell for owners who need scoring.

Thoughts on his role recently with brooks, Thornton and tyreke out? Think he can carve 20-25 min ros?

I wish he played 32 min/gm, I'd own him on every possible team.Love those 3/stl/blk numbers.

I know he'd be a mini Batum hahahahah, if he can carve 25 min consistently I think he'll be close to a block a steal and a 3 a game and I could sure use that...
