Josh: Whiteside was in foul trouble, so Bam got run again. He is hard to have in 12 team leagues - I wouldn't have him.
Kyle: Bam had a great game Friday, but Whiteside was limited by foul trouble, and the minutes just won't be consistent enough for Bam when the Heat are healthy.
Must Add 12 teams Josh: He can't hit his free throws, but is going at 59% from the floor in the last three games, all massive performances. I do not trust that, at all, but he is an add in all 12 team leagues with the expectation that we have seen this before and it is almost invariably followed by either a terrible stretch or an injury.
Maybe Add 10 teams Kyle: Winslow is playing great, but his percentages will come and go. He's a streaky shooter, I'd be looking at adding him in all standard leagues, especially if you're not worried about his percentages.
Josh: Minutes reduced with McGruder playing more, but production was serviceable. I view him more as a 14 team guy.
Kyle: Johnson is best viewed as a streamer in most leagues. As the Heat get healthy, Johnson may even find himself out of the rotation on occasion.
Sell High 12 teams Josh: He is on a huge run, but when Nwaba and Hood rturn, let alone McCaw arriving, he may lose a couple of minutes, so if you can sell high, do it.
Maybe Add 10 teams Kyle: Clarkson has undeniable value because of his scoring, but with the Cavs expected to be adding another ball handler to the roster with Patrick McCaw, Clarkson will have another wing player gunning for his minutes soon.
Kyle: Burks has had some streaming value since joining the Cavs, but his role could be in for a reduction with Pat McCaw poised to join the roster this week.
Kyle: Wade offers nice streaming value for points and assists, but he doesn't do enough across the board to maintain consistent standard league value.
Josh: When you play Blossomgame more minutes than Nance, you just gotta do it. He has been okay at times, but is likely out of the rotation soon.
Kyle: Blossomgame got a start at PF for matchup reasons, but he should return to the bench in short order, especially with Patrick McCaw joining the team and Kevin Love coming back eventually.
Kyle: McGruder is a streamer for threes in deeper leagues.
Sell High Josh: 29 minutes is till solid, but benching him on the verge of Thompson's return gives me zero hope that Larry Frew will continue to play Nance solid minutes when everyone is healthy. I would sell if I can.
Kyle: Nance was momved to the bench in favor of starting Channing Frye and Jaron Blossomgame to matchup with the Heat. This isn't good for Nance's long-term value when Kevin Love returns or even his short-term value when Tristan Thompson returns. It's mind numbing to see another organization discounting the impact Nance offers. He's about as close to position-less as a player can get. I don't know why it's been so hard for the Lakers and now Cavs to just unleash him.
Josh: Foul trouble limited him.
Kyle: Whiteside was limited by foul trouble.
Droppable 12 teams Kyle: I might hold Osman as a luxury stash in a couple of my leagues where I'm in a great spot in the standings, but with the Cavs likely adding Pat McCaw to their wing rotation soon, and the looming returns of Tristan Thompson and Kevin Love, Osman's minutes and opportunity might take even more of a hit.
Kyle: Jones started the second half with James Johnson leaving with an illness. Jones' role could become more precarious if Dion Waiters enters the rotation soon.
Kyle: Frye got a matchup start but didn't do much and isn't even guaranteed a rotation spot most games.
Droppable 12 teams Josh: He is one of the worst starters in the NBA and is getting worse. He is not worth holding in 12 team leagues.
Kyle: Sexton will play decent minutes all season and offer some production in scoring, but nothing consistent anywhere else. And with the Cavs adding Patrick McCaw to the mix soon, that will give coach Drew another ball handler to consider playing over Heavy Sex at times. He's best viewed as a streamer for points in most leagues.
