FilterNick Young2/7/2015 11:31 AMmbuser 0% (0)Feast or famine and the Christmas tree line makes him tough to own in the first place. It's less about the minutes and more about whether or not even an optimistic line makes sense for your team build.
FilterNick Young2/7/2015 10:22 AMcastorius 0% (0)I totally agree, I've already cut him loose. The thing with Swaggy P is, he's gonna go off some games for 20+ pts, but he's far too inconsistent; he's gonna give you alot of stinkers too. He just doesn't help in enough categories to be worth holding onto and he's far too inconsistent to reach his projections.
FilterNick Young2/7/2015 7:33 AMEnderDantes 0% (0)While I own him, I'm not so sure there is going to be a Swaggy P breakout this year. Byron is actually trying to coach. The loss of Kobe seems to have resulted in a system where the Lakers go 10 deep and everybody gets shots up, rather than last with D'Antoni where Swaggy became the primary option. Do you still think the Swagster will get his projected 26 mgp going forward?.
FilterNick Young1/26/2015 8:43 PMcastorius 0% (1)This injury further clouds what I should do with this guy. I wanted this week to evaluate his role going forward, but now I can't, and I'm thinking just cutting the cord on him already since he only really helps in points and threes (and I guess ft%), but he kills you most nights in fg% and it's not like he has performed amazing with Kobe gone (in fact, he may even play worse it seems)
FilterNick Young1/25/2015 11:14 PMmbuser 0% (0)Scott said Young didn't look like he wanted to be there tonight, and also said he asked him a question about a defensive assignment and didn't like the answer. He's not a must-hold given the nature of his line but can get hot at a moment's notice.
FilterNick Young1/25/2015 11:07 PMcastorius 0% (0)Ughh.... that's bad news. Is it best I hang onto him for at least the week to see how this plays out or can I drop him to take a shot at a more intriguing option? (ie. drop Robin Lopez or Nick Young first? drop Nick Young for Brian Roberts? - I have Kemba and I'm worried! Drop Young to take a shot at Terrence Jones?)
FilterNick Young1/25/2015 10:48 PMcastorius 0% (0)What happened to Nick Young today? Did he get injured? Or did the bottom just fall out?
FilterNick Young1/22/2015 11:21 PMcastorius 0% (0)imo, yes and no. Of course you're gonna hang onto him just because he's likely to get the usage with Kobe gone, but that could also be a bad thing too because it means he's gonna be taking more shots and missing more shots - so some bad shooting nights he's gonna kill your fg%
FilterNick Young1/22/2015 9:29 PMrcdubbs 0% (0)Is this guy worth holding now that Kobe is likely done for the season?
FilterNick Young1/21/2015 9:27 PMcastorius 0% (0)Man.... what do I do with this guy?
FilterNick Young1/16/2015 10:54 PMcastorius 100% (1)Of course he has his best game in weeks when I put him on my bench. smh
FilterNick Young1/16/2015 6:03 AMHoundie 0% (0)LOL. Nick is much better in his own head.
FilterNick Young1/16/2015 12:15 AMcastorius 0% (0)Please say the word and I'll drop him. He's been absolutely killing me.
FilterNick Young1/14/2015 12:11 AMcastorius 0% (0)He's been absolutely horrible the past 2 weeks (and not a great month either). I don't know how many Swaggy P bad shooting nights I'll be able to take. Hold or drop?
FilterNick Young1/10/2015 12:53 PMmbuser 0% (0)He was much closer to expectations as of four games ago (40.4%). Not a must-hold by any means given his very category-specific contributions and that his ranks are helped by low turnovers.
FilterNick Young1/10/2015 9:14 AMrockme 0% (0)FG% Killer or is this just a slump? droppable in 12 team roto?
FilterNick Young12/6/2014 11:05 PMjyang61107 0% (3)Will he hit the 75-100 ROS rank if he does start for the LAL?
FilterNick Young12/6/2014 10:41 AMmbuser 0% (0)14 threes in a three-game span will boost the small-sample average, but it's clearly something that the Lakers need him to be doing, and his early shot volume is promising.
FilterNick Young12/6/2014 9:58 AMWiseguy 100% (1)I think his projections are a little off. I mean, is there any way this guy doesn't end up over 2 threes per game?
FilterNick Young11/24/2014 8:18 AMbamboo 0% (3)Hold him or pickup Corey Brewer? Is Young's thumb only killing his FG% in the short term?
FilterNick Young11/18/2014 7:37 PMjphanned 0% (0)Jumping ahead of this one here - don't go overboard here with an add. He's a fringe standard league option at best. Points and threes yes, but nothing else.
 FilterNick Young11/15/2014 4:58 PMjphanned 0% (0)No, hang onto Green.
 FilterNick Young11/15/2014 4:46 PMkr0z3n 0% (3)drop danny green for nick young?
 FilterNick Young11/13/2014 9:32 AMjclee4 0% (0)I'm curious about this too
FilterNick Young11/10/2014 4:40 PMelcamino 50% (4)He's getting closer to a comeback. With no depth, will he have as much impact as last year? Starter?
FilterNick Young10/9/2014 3:44 PMjphanned 0% (0)Will be able to start running on Friday, practice with a splint in five weeks. If all goes well, could return in 6-7 weeks instead of eight.
FilterNick Young2/20/2014 7:08 PMhsahardid 67% (3)Do Marshon Brooks and Kent Bazemore cut into Young's minutes?
 FilterNick Young12/18/2013 7:49 AMhalpink31 80% (5)Bump?
FilterNick Young11/2/2013 1:44 AMmbuser 100% (4)Hard to look worse than Young has through three games.
FilterNick Young2/6/2013 9:27 PMfromak 100% (2)Immediate pick up for those who can use a scoring punch w a big FG% hit
FilterNick Young2/6/2013 7:18 PMmbuser 100% (2)He's locked in now. JRich done for the season because of knee surgery.
FilterNick Young2/6/2013 12:15 PMmbuser 100% (2)Yep, we've got JRich as out through the ASB, with Young playing big minutes during that time. Also expect him to remain ahead of JRich if he happens to return after the break.
FilterNick Young2/5/2013 11:21 PMJzyls 100% (4)Looks like Young will be the starter for the foreseeable future...
FilterNick Young2/2/2013 1:28 AMmbuser 100% (3)Yes, we have to wait and see with JRich. It looks like Young could continue to start, but keeping the massive playing time is another story.
FilterNick Young2/1/2013 9:28 PMtator3734 100% (1)Time for a Bump or are we waiting to see what news comes from JRich?
FilterNick Young1/27/2013 4:28 PMmbuser 100% (1)JRich hurt, Dorell Wright in the Collins doghouse, Young could be looking at some playing time.
FilterNick Young1/27/2013 4:25 PMmbuser 100% (1)@tmoorepburbs - #Sixers associate head coach Michael Curry makes it sound like Nick Young may continue starting even when Jason Richardson (knee) returns.
FilterNick Young1/26/2013 9:03 PMtator3734 50% (4)Is there any chance he keeps the starting job?
