The Monster Board strikes a balance between eight and nine cat value, and assumes that punting at least one category is part of your strategy. These rankings will be updated regularly moving forward, and should be considered within the context of your team build and strategy, and are not intended to be used as a 'pick the next highest guy' type of list. The 'Prev' column indicates a player's rank in the previous version of the Monster Board, and the '15-16 column indicates a player's current per-game rank for the 2015-16 season.
|1||Stephen Curry||PG/SG||GSW||Clear number one in 8-cat, may play more 4th Q this season, elite contributor in four categories.
|2||Anthony Davis||PF/C||NOR||Close to number one in 9-cat, has yet to play more than 68 games. Locks down block cat
|3||James Harden||SG/SF||HOU||Elite FT% at huge volume. Improved def. stats last season. Can't go wrong in top 3.
|5||Chris Paul||PG||LAC||Played 82 games for first time in career, hard to repeat. Superb 9-cat PG due to great Ast:TO ratio
|4||Russell Westbrook||PG||OKC||Last two seasons w/ healthy Durant, he ranked 6 & 8. Better player now. Downgrade if not punting TO
