Active Right Achilles tightness Open link
Parker will be active and in the starting lineup for Game 3 vs. the Clippers on Friday despite tightness in his right Achilles. He didn't return to Wednesday's win after leaving midway through the fourth quarter with the injury, although he said after the game that he didn't think he'd miss additional time. "It's been a tough year, but I think I'll be all right," Parker said. He added that the injury was likely due to his compensating for the sprained left ankle and bruised left thigh that he was dealing with heading in. "I think I put too much pressure on the right ankle because of the soreness in my left ankle." Parker compared the injury to the Achilles soreness that forced him from a game back on April 7, which he followed with 27 points in 26 minutes the following night. Patty Mills could still be in for a few extra minutes at point guard on Friday, with Parker not expected to be 100 percent.

Parker won't return to Wednesday's game after heading to the locker room midway through the fourth quarter with tightness in his right Achilles. He was clearly limited when he was on the court and was unable to get any real lift or explosion. Parker was dealing with a sprained left ankle as well as a bruised left thigh heading in, and it appears that an accumulation of those injuries as well as this recent Achilles issue forced him out early.

Active Sprained left ankle Open link
Coach Gregg Popovich said after Sunday's loss that Parker tweaked his left ankle but will be fine for Game 2 vs. the Clippers on Wednesday. Parker returned on Sunday after leaving midway through the first quarter due to the injury, which he suffered when he rolled his ankle after kicking Blake Griffin's foot while attempting to make a defensive play. Parker remained in the game for a few minutes after the play but appeared to be limited, and was eventually subbed out and left for the locker room. He returned to the bench after a few minutes and then checked back into the game early in the second quarter. He didn't appear to be favoring the ankle over the remainder of the game and it doesn't look like this will cost him any time going forward.

Parker will be active and in the starting lineup for Wednesday's game vs. the Rockets. "He's fine," said coach Gregg Popovich. Parker had been listed as questionable heading in after he was unable to return for the second half of Tuesday's win due to tightness in his right Achilles. This appears to be a minor issue that won't cause him to miss further time, although the Spurs' regulars figure to see their minutes limited as a whole with the team playing the second leg of a back-to-back.

Parker has been upgraded to questionable for Wednesday's game vs. the Rockets. He didn't return for the second half of Tuesday's win due to tightness in his right Achilles after playing an ineffective 16 minutes (1-5 FG) in the first half. Parker continues to deal with the lingering effects of his left hamstring injury, although he hasn't missed a game since returning to action over eight weeks ago. "I have not been the same since I came back, and it's still bothering me," Parker said. "Everybody knows. I am not going to use that as an excuse. I am just going to work it out until it gets better." He's not considered taking any time off, with the Spurs fighting for a playoff spot, but it appears that it will continue to limit his minutes and effectiveness over the season's final six-plus weeks. Patty Mills and Cory Joseph will continue to back up Parker and would step in if he were to need to sit out games moving forward.

Parker will be active and in the starting lineup for the Spurs on Tuesday after missing much of the past month due to a strained left hamstring. This will mark Parker's third comeback from an injury he first suffered on Dec. 5, and subsequently aggravated on Dec. 12 and 25. The Spurs took every precaution this time in order to ensure that he's returning at 100 percent. "I want to make sure he doesn’t get halfway through the game and feel it again," said coach Gregg Popovich. "I want to really be sure." Parker's return will push Corey Joseph back to a reserve role and also take back a few minutes in the frontcourt from Patty Mills.

Questionable Strained left hamstring Open link
Parker is considered questionable in advance of Tuesday's contest vs. the Pistons. He has been slowly ramping up his activity over the past few days, taking part in 3-on-3 drills on Saturday. The plan is for Parker to test his hamstring in practice, with his status to be determined based on how he reacts to the increased activity. Friday seems likely if he's not able to play on Tuesday, given this news and with the Spurs having two more days available for practice sessions as well. Parker's eventual return will take back minutes from both Cory Joseph and Patty Mills at the point.

Parker has been ruled out in advance of Saturday's game vs. the Wizards, his fifth straight game missed due to a strained left hamstring. Parker was a light participant in the Spurs' Friday practice, and all indications are that he's progressing, but he remains without a specific timetable for a return. A recent MRI of his hamstring looked positive. "He saw the doctor with the MRI, and it’s basically going to be his confidence level, how he feels in a couple of workouts," coach Gregg Popovich said. "But so far, the MRI looks good, but he’s got some (swelling) in there. It’s very painful. We’ll just see how his body works through that. But it’s not going to be a very long time." Parker who has already been ruled out of Friday's contest vs. the Pelicans due to a strained left hamstring, will be "out for a while" according to coach Gregg Popovich. "Every time he thinks it’s back, he feels something," Popovich said. "He felt it at the end of the Clipper game. He gave it a run (Thursday). You can’t have him doing that so we’re going to sit him. Give it time and if we err, it’s on the conservative side. It keeps coming back and that’s not good, so we’re just going to sit him out for a while." It will be the ninth time in the past 12 games that Parker will have to sit because of the hamstring issue, which he suffered back on Dec. 5, and the second time he's been forced back to the bench by the injury. The Spurs will look to give him adequate time off for the injury to heal completely once and for all.
