I think we are mostly talking about it from a money investing point though. If you have the best tam in a roto league you are going to win. If you have the best team in a H2H league you are more likely to win. Therefore roto is the safer investment

I don't totally agree with this. There is some randomness involved (see NYK 2 games this week) once playoffs begin in H2H, but I still think the most skillful players have the most success.

Playing h2h becomes more and more meaningless since some rests and teama being super cautious can cost championships even to "perfect" teams. I'd really never play a money h2h league any more.

Unfortunately it becomes pretty frequent in March/April. Also it is likely to become more frequent going forward unless the NBA changes scheduling. There is a lot of research available on proper resting and injury prevention. I think most people would agree the current 82 game schedule is not optimal for player health

Can't really blame Cousins. Roster is hot garbage (hence they were losing before adding cousins) and Davis and Cousins aren't a great fit next to each other so far. I'll wait until next season to call this trade a disaster.

It's a change if scenery, but I still don't think it's a great situation right now. There is a lot of pressure on Cousins to improve the Pelicans and for them to make the playoffs this year. But the roster around their three stars is terrible. They don't have a single role player that I would classify as being above replacement level. They have 22 games to figure out their chemistry and are back 3.5 games with a few teams to pass.

I would prefer to take a chance on WCS over Casspi or tolliver personally. I think he has more upside then those guys. Plus trading Boogie would signal to me the Kings are looking to build for the future, so it would make sense for them to give more minutes to a guy they invested a first round pick in last year.
122.9d
kylemckeown16
Obviously, it depends who would come back in a Cousins deal. If the Kings don't get any frontcourt players back, WCS would see extra minutes, but we might see the Kings give Anthony Tolliver and Omri Casspi a lot of minutes, to the point that WCS would remain in a somewhat limited role.

@Deadmau.. Cousins is one of my favorite fantasy players but in reality he seems like a pretty disruptive personality in the locker room that can really hurt a team. I can understand why teams would steer clear of him. Having said that the magic might as well have rolled the dice on him.

This is from rotowire: Cousins has been playing through a broken middle finger on his shooting hand, Jason Jones of the Sacramento Bee reports. Cousins apparently had X-rays taken prior to the team's current road trip, and despite those X-rays revealing a break, he isn't currently in enough pain to stay off the court. However, his finger was swollen following Monday's massive performance (36 points and 20 rebounds) against the Wizards, so there's no guarantee that he'll be available Wednesday in Philadelphia if his swelling persists.
