Out Sore left hamstring Open link
Allen won't return for the second half of Friday's game due to continued soreness in his left hamstring. He returned to the starting lineup after sitting out Wednesday's loss with the injury, but played just one five-minute stint and was clearly limited. Allen had said before the game that he estimated his hamstring was at about 60 percent. "Obviously, I'm fighting the injury," he said. "But I'm ready to come out and help my team, the best way I can, whatever percent. I want to be in this battle with my teammates." Jeff Green, Courtney Lee, Vince Carter, and Nick Calathes will see extended run the rest of the way with Allen unavailable.

Active Sore left hamstring Open link
Allen will be active and in the starting lineup for Game 6 vs. the Warriors on Friday, as expected, despite his estimating that his sore left hamstring is at about 60 percent. "Obviously, I'm fighting the injury," he said. "But I'm ready to come out and help my team, the best way I can, whatever percent. I want to be in this battle with my teammates." Allen was held out of Wednesday's loss due to the hamstring, with coach Dave Joerger saying afterwards that the team was being smart and wanted to get him ready to play on Friday. His hamstring tightened up during Saturday's loss and he was limited to just 16 minutes on Monday, although he declined to say after the game whether it was specifically due to the injury. Allen missed the final nine games of the regular season due to a strain of the same hamstring, and there's some concern given that he's still dealing with lingering issues. His return will take back minutes on the wing from Jeff Green, Courtney Lee, Vince Carter, and Nick Calathes.
