Doug McDermott was traded to Dallas. Devin Harris goes to Denver, and Emmanuel Mudiay ends up in New York.

McDermott will likely end up playing the backup SF role and getting close to the same minutes we saw Devin Harris getting off the bench, around 15-20 depending on the night.

Dennis Smith's minutes have been slowly crawling up and should stay there. Yogi Ferrell's minutes are more secure. Wes Matthews likely plays even more at SG as opposed to SF. Maybe Dwight Powell holds down that starting PF job and runs with it.

If anything, I'd take a look at Dwight Powell and see if what he offers fits your squad to see if he can continue to get 27+ mpg the rest of the way.

While it's possible McDermott could end up stepping into the starting SF role at some point with Harrison Barnes possibly shifting up and starting at PF again, I wouldn't count on McDermott beating out Powell for the forward minutes.

Devin Harris went to Denver. Emmanuel Mudiay was traded to New York.

Devin Harris steps into the backup PG role and could play some minutes at SG or SF as needed, too.

No big winner here. Will Barton plays less at PG the rest of the way.

New York:

The Knicks added Emmanuel Mudiay and sent out Doug McDermott.

Mudiay is entering a logjam at PG.

Jarrett Jack should play a smaller role as the season progresses, but it's hard to know if the Knicks will truly start to limit him.

Frank Ntilikina and Emmanuel Mudiay should play the majority of the PG minutes the rest of the way, but Trey Burke was signed this season to see what he might be able to offer, too.

There's no clear winner from this deal beyond deeper leagues. It'll be a situation to watch going forward.
