Welcome to Basketball Monster, and here’s what’s new for this season. Some are ready now, and the remaining will be coming soon: - Projection Ranges – based on analyst settings and the player’s historical variance, we’ll be generating high/low projections for each player. These should be ready by the end of August.
- Updated Draft Monster – This was an experimental tool last season, and it’s back this year. It uses the new Advanced Standings which are based on probabilities of winning categories over your opponents rather than just a simple better or worse rating.
- Matchup Monster – The new H2H tool which debuted towards the end of last season is back. This will simplify your matchups, allowing you to select add/drops to improve the probability of winning your categories.
- Advanced ADP – Rather than rely on 3rd party ADP, we’ll be generating our own. We’ll also have multiple versions based on the more popular league settings. This will give a more accurate idea of where players are drafted based on your exact settings.
- Advanced Ownership %: Like the Adv ADP, we’ll be creating unique versions of the ownership % for the more popular league settings. This will give a more accurate idea of player ownership based on your exact settings.
- Ottoneu Support – Thanks to their new API, we will be supporting importing and updating leagues during the season. It sounds like they will expanding it further into roto standings/matchup imports and maybe even live draft results.
- Super Monster Monday Chat – Each Monday, for Super Monster members, Kyle will be hosting a 30-minute chat to help users set their weekly lineups and answer whatever else is asked.
