Payton was traded to the Suns, and he should step into their starting PG spot and play a lot.

Devin Booker moves back to playing most of his minutes at SG but will still handle the ball plenty.

Josh Jackson likely moves back to a bench role and serves as the sixth man, but there's a the potential that TJ Warren could get some start at PF to give Jackson some starts at SF. One of Bender or Chriss would have to play off the bench in those games.

Tyler Ulis may still get spot minutes as the backup PG, but it's also completely possible he gets excised from the rotation completely.

Elfrid Payton is the winner here, especially since he was splitting minutes recently in ORL.

Great move for the Suns!  They get to trial Elfrid for 3 months, and if he's a fit they get to sign him in a cash-strapped off-season, and it only costs them a 2nd.

What is the outlook for the PG position in ORL? Augustin worth a pickup in 10 or 12 teams?

DJ Augustin should be the starting PG the rest of the way it appears. He seems in line for 30 mpg if he can hold down the job, but I wouldn't be too surprised to see the Magic take a longer look at Shelvin Mack at times or even explore Evan Fournier as the starting PG once Terrence Ross and Jonathan Issac are back in the rotation.

DJ Augustin is the big winner here if you need a PG, he's worth a look, but I don't think his value is as certain as it may seem it should be.

For deeper leagues, Mack has more certain rest-of-season value.
