Active Sprained left ankle Open link
LaVine will be active for Friday's game vs. the Grizzlies, as expected. He returned on Wednesday after a two-game absence due to a left ankle sprain and played limited minutes off the bench. LaVine suffered the injury during Friday's loss as he came down on the foot of KJ McDaniels. He will be looking at a significantly reduced role in any case moving forward given the returns of Kevin Martin (wrist) and Ricky Rubio (ankle).

Active Sprained left ankle Open link
LaVine will be available to play on Wednesday vs. the Heat, but coach Flip Saunders is unsure how much he'll use him (if at all) as the team looks to exercise caution with his injury. He has missed the past two games due to a sprained left ankle, which he suffered during Friday's loss as he came down on the foot of KJ McDaniels. LaVine will be looking at a significantly reduced role in any case moving forward given the returns of Kevin Martin (wrist) and Ricky Rubio (ankle).

Questionable Sprained left ankle Open link
LaVine is considered questionable for Wednesday's contest vs. the Heat. He has missed the past two games due to a sprained left ankle injury, which he suffered during Friday's loss as he came down on the foot of KJ McDaniels. LaVine is looking at a significantly reduced role in any case given the returns of Kevin Martin (wrist) and Ricky Rubio (ankle).

Out Sprained left ankle Open link
LaVine, who has already been ruled out for his second straight game on Monday vs. the Mavs, said his sprained left ankle is "a lot better" and intends to practice on Tuesday. He suffered the sprain during Friday's loss as he came down on the foot of KJ McDaniels. LaVine is looking at a significantly reduced role in any case whenever he is ready to play given the impending return of Ricky Rubio (ankle).

Out Sprained left ankle Open link
LaVine has been ruled out for Monday's contest vs. the Mavs, as expected. Coach Flip Saunders had previously said that he wasn't very optimistic about LaVine's chances of playing. "He might need a few days," Saunders said. This will mark LaVine's second straight missed game as he sat out Saturday as well after spraining his left ankle during Friday's loss as he came down on the foot of KJ McDaniels. He's looking at a significantly reduced role in any case whenever he is ready to play given the impending return of Ricky Rubio (ankle).

Doubtful Sprained left ankle Open link
LaVine is officially listed as questionable in advance of Monday's game vs. the Mavs, though coach Flip Saunders wasn't very optimistic about his chances of playing. "He might need a few days," Saunders said. LaVine sat out Saturday after spraining his left ankle during Friday's loss as he came down on the foot of KJ McDaniels. We'll continue to update his status as needed, but he's looking at a significantly reduced role moving forward in any case with the impending return of Ricky Rubio (ankle).

Out Sprained left ankle Open link
LaVine has been ruled out for Saturday's game vs. the Cavs after spraining his left ankle during Friday's loss. He suffered the injury midway through the third quarter as he came down on the foot of KJ McDaniels, but ended up returning after a brief trip to the locker room. Lorenzo Brown will see heavy run at the point on Saturday with Mo Williams (hip) also sidelined.

Questionable Sprained left ankle Open link
LaVine is listed as questionable for Saturday's game vs. the Cavs after spraining his left ankle during Friday's loss. He suffered the injury midway through the third quarter as he came down on the foot of KJ McDaniels, but ended up returning after a brief trip to the locker room. We'll continue to update LaVine's status as needed, and it would be Mo Williams (hip, questionable) and Lorenzo Brown in line to handle the point guard duties should he have to miss any time.

Active Twisted left ankle Open link
LaVine returned to Friday's game after heading to the locker room midway through the third quarter with a twisted left ankle. He suffered the tweak as he came down on the foot of KJ McDaniels, but looks to be good to go. We'll continue to update LaVine's status should he suffer some sort of aggravation.
1/25/2015 1:47 PM
Active Sprained left elbow Open link
LaVine and teammates Anthony Bennett (sore right knee) and Mo Williams (general soreness) will all be active for Sunday's game vs. the Hawks after being held out of practice on Saturday. It appears that neither LaVine's elbow nor Bennett's knee are going to be an issue going forward, and Williams got the day off from practice after playing 35 minutes during Friday's loss. Kevin Martin (wrist) is once again unavailable for the Timberwolves on Sunday.

Questionable Sprained left elbow Open link
LaVine and teammate Anthony Bennett (sore right knee) are considered questionable for Sunday's game vs. the Hawks after sitting out practice on Saturday. We'll continue to update their status as needed. Robbie Hummel and Troy Daniels would see additional run in the backcourt if LaVine had to miss time, while Bennett's absence would mean more minutes for Hummel (of course), Nikola Pekovic, and Thaddeus Young in the frontcourt.
