Kyle: Green picked up a second technical in the last 2 minutes of the game and got ejected. He should be fine for next game.
Josh: Big jump from last game. Melton being out helps, but still at under 30 minutes and his inconsistency makes him tough as an add.
Watch Kyle: Podziemski started the second half and has intrigue as a maybe-add with Melton out and Waters getting injured, but the Warriors' absurd depth will likely continue to be a fantasy hindrance, and I wouldn't be chasing right now.
Droppable 12 teams Josh: The defense is good but with rotation now bloated, he isn't a 12 team hold
Sell High Kyle: LaRavia was great here, but his minutes were short, and he may not even be in the rotation nightly when the Grizzlies are fully healthy, so this is in most ways a sell-high game.
Josh: Strong return and I expect he starts very soon.
Buy Low Kyle: Bane was back in action but came off the bench. This is a buy-low night, though the Grizzlies' obnoxious rotations could continue to temper Bane's ceiling this season.
Kyle: Anderson was back in action and continues to offer value for very deep leagues and conditional streaming on shirt-schedule days when healthy.
Josh: Role seems to have taken a hit here. But I don't think this is a relaistic outcome most nights. Still would hold.
Droppable 12 teams Josh: Needs 23 a night, and he isn't getting it, so move on.
Josh: Still maintained value with guys back, but I don't think that's a long term thing
Sell High Kyle: Wells is a sell-high before Bane and Smart are likely back starting soon.
Maybe Add Kyle: Smart came off the bench again, and though he put up a good line in modest run, this is a little concerning for Smart's ceiling going forward and may even be worth treating as a sell-high time of sorts.
Kyle: Waters made the start with Melton out as coach Kerr continues to weave rotations of butter every game, limiting everyone's ceiling, though raising several players into relevancy with better floors for very deep leagues. Waters ended up leaving the game with a knee injury and did not return. Podz started the second half.
Kyle: Really good minutes, and with Melton out, Hield's early hot stretch could be revived some.
Droppable 14 teams Josh: Almost impossible he is a worthy hold unless injuries hit.
Droppable Kyle: As the Grizzlies get healthy, Huff could easily fall out of the rotation for stretches.
Kyle: Clarke returned and was back starting over both Huff and Edey as the Grizzlies exhaust everyone with their bloated rotation.
Josh: Bad game. If you need to make a longer term move, I think it's okay to move on as his long term outlook is not very good.
Kyle: With Vince and Bane and Smart back, Aldama's role us looking suspect going forward.
Josh: Don't drop yet, but he is going to be a drop soon. A lot of value came due to absences.
Droppable 12 teams Kyle: With Smart and Bane and Vince all back, Pippen's opportunity is looking short even with Morant out. Treat him as a streamer and drop as needed most leagues.
Maybe Add 14 teams Josh: I probably lean more 14 teams with his return coinciding with other players. But, he's just a very good player and could be a 12 team guy
Maybe Add 14 teams Kyle: Vince returned to action with good run off the bench, but he's going to find it hard to be more than conditional streamer in standards when the Grizzlies are healthy, so I'm not chasing this beyond a flier in deeper leagues and watch lists for now.
Josh: Yeah this is why I am not super keen on him as a must. He can't get 30 minutes and when the shot isn't there, he is benched and offers not much to complement scoring. If you held or dropped, I don't think I care either way, but he is definitely not a must.
Droppable 12 teams Kyle: No more games for the Warriors this weekend, so if you need to win a matchup or stream in more games, it's OK to treat Kuminga as a stream-as-needed guy in most leagues.
Droppable Kyle: If you don't have an IL spot to stash Melton, he's a drop. He just can't be trusted to stay healthy even if a good role is waiting for him.
