R.J. Barrett

Sell High Kyle: The defense and hot shooting won't stick. Barrett has shown us his inconsistencies and limitations his whole career. It's unlikely that's changed. Sell-high on the defense that won't be regular.

Ryan Rollins

Stream Josh: Did everything you wanted without KPJ. Worth having

Maybe Add Kyle: Rollins is more of a streamer while Porter is out than someone to chase, but if he excels, maybe a big enough role maintains, so it's worth considering the flier in many leagues.

Brandon Ingram

Sell High Kyle: Ingram had a great night in big minutes. He's going to be good as long as he's healthy, but this is a sell-high game because of the lack of faith in Ingram's health.

Cole Anthony

Stream Josh: Won't be this good, the the assists make him worth a stream without KPJ

Stream Kyle: Cole was amazing in extended minutes with Porter out. Cole can produce for fantasy when minutes and touches come, so make sure to be aware of him for opportunities to stream and the potential upside if injuries or his play solidify a bigger role nightly as we go.

Kyle Kuzma

Droppable Kyle: Coach Rivers said this doesn't seem like a bad sprain, so Kuzma could be ready soon. He was OK here, but he's in a limited bench role already, and I would be looking at my options off the wire in standard leagues.

Immanuel Quickley

Josh: Ineffcienct, but the counting stats have been okay so far and the role looks good.

Kyle: Fantastic. Quickley has considerable upside this season if he can claim huge minutes like this and remain healthy.

Gary Trent

Maybe Add 12 teams Josh: Been a solid start. I'm not massively keen overall, but it's looking okay for now

Maybe Add Kyle: Trent has a starting job and is producing well enough already, with upside for more minutes, that he should be on someone's roster in most leagues as at least a streamer.

Myles Turner

Buy Low Kyle: Turner had some foul issues here to limit him some, and there remains upside for him to take on a bigger role. I would consider looking at buy-low options on Turner.

Gradey Dick

Droppable 14 teams Josh: People added after Game 1 which was a mistake. Drop him

Droppable Kyle: Dick is just a conditional streamer with low upside if the Raptors are healthy. I would not be rostering him beyond deeper formats.

Bobby Portis

Hold Josh: Few more minutes with Kuzma hurt, so it should be a boost if he misses time.

Droppable Kyle: Coach Rivers is limiting Portis' role with the roster healthy, and it's going to be fine to grab a higher upside player off the wire early this season in most leagues. For deeper leagues, I'd be holding a bit longer.

Jakob Poeltl

Buy Low Josh: Foul trouble early and didn't play as well as you would've hoped, but still ended with 27 minutes. I would not drop and I would buy low

Buy Low Kyle: Foul trouble and a buy-low moment to consider throwing an offer at.

Maybe Add 14 teams Josh: Big role off the bench. The steals are nice and the rest is good too, but I am more looking in 14 teams

Maybe Add 14 teams Kyle: Silva was solid again and may be fighting for a bigger role if Suggs remains limited a lot of the season. I'd be taking a look in deeper leagues and watching for streaming use.

Onyeka Okongwu

Josh: Slow start, but he cooked and when KP is out, this is what you can get.

Kyle: Okongwu made the spot start with Porzingis dealing with an illness. This both shows Okongwu's upside if enough minutes find him this season but is also a sell-high game on the chance Porzingis is healthy this season.

Nickeil Alexander-Walker

Stream Josh: Hi usage has been insane so far. If Zacc is out, he is at least worth considering

Stream Kyle: NAW made a spot start with Risacher out and was good. NAW is a fine streamer in general with his solid bench role and worth even more of a look when getting extra burn like this.

Jalen Johnson

Kyle: Foul trouble and a buy-low moment game.

Jalen Suggs

Buy Low Josh: Shooting has been awesome so far, but minutes limited. I would be holding but it could be rough early.

Sell High Kyle: Suggs' is a sell-high as long as he's playing, which isn't a good sign for his long-term expectations, and I would already be considering dropping him for the right add in most leagues.

Mouhamed Gueye

Stream Josh: Good to know that we can stream him when KP is out.

Watch Kyle: Gueye was solid here in extra run with two core players being out. This was a conditional situation and something to watch, not chase, unless Risacher and Porzingis remain out.

Wendell Carter Jr.

Josh: Solid enough. No high upside, but enough to be a backend guy

Maybe Add Kyle: Great minutes again and good enough production that Carter should at least be getting streamed or held as a flier to see how he produces over the first couple weeks.

Jonathan Isaac

Kyle: Barely in the rotation beyond spot minutes to open the season, and that could persist if the Magic are healthy.

Paolo Banchero

Buy Low Josh: Easy to hate on him. These games have been bad. Therefore, I dothink if someone regrets their pick, you can get him for cheap.

Kristaps Porzingis

Kyle: Hopefully this is a real illness and not just a rest, but regardless, the expression is the same. Porzingis is out. And we should expect this to be the case on most b2bs with other absences due to injury, as that has been his path most of his career.

Zaccharie Risacher

Kyle: Put Risacher in an IL spot if you can. I wouldn't want to drop unless the add off the wire has the same floor and upside long-term.

Jase Richardson

Watch Kyle: In very deep leagues and dynasty, Richardson is worth considering a buy-low target. I'm expecting him to be in the rotation this season, but coach Mosley seems to be giving his vets the first opportunity to fail before Richardson's talent ends up carving out a regular role as the season goes.

Michael Porter Jr.

Sell High Josh: Excellent. Insane usage great shooting, so sell his as soon as possible.

Sell High Kyle: Porter is in a good situation to post big lines when the Nets have a competitive night, but the team is settled for a tank and will surely offer more chaos than I'd like on my fantasy team. I'd be looking for sell-high options on Porter as long as he's healthy and posting big lines on the Nets.

Sam Merrill

Stream Josh: Great threes again, and he is a solid stream guy while players are out

Stream Kyle: Merrill is a banger from deep. He's going to continue getting spot starts until Garland is back, so stream and sell-high if possible before Merrill returns to a more limited bench job as the Cavs get healthy.

Jaylon Tyson

Watch Kyle: Another spot start for Tyson, and the production was interesting, but the minutes are too short to give much attention beyond deeper leagues.

Cam Thomas

Sell High Josh: Minutes are great and I love the assists here. Now is when you try to sell and do it each time he has a big game

Sell High Kyle: Thomas is getting a lot of run right now as the Nets desperately try to showcase him for a trade that is unlikely to land Thomas in a good situation for his fantasy value. Even if he remains on the Nets all season, which may be the most probable outcome, the team will almost certainly de-prioritize him as we go. He doesn't seem aligned with their future plans.

Jarrett Allen

Josh: Fantastic bounceback, but we know that centres dominate the Nets. Encouraging

Sell High Kyle: After getting called out for being absent from impacting the first game, Allen was good here, but the fact it took cajoling isn't a great sign. I would be considering sell-high options on the chance that the Cavs get frustrated enough at some point to demote Allen to a bench role.

Egor Demin

Josh: Fine. His advanced % is way higher than I thought. I don't think he is the highest priority hold.

Maybe Add Kyle: Demin remains on a minutes restriction but is producing in middling run with upside to do much more and be the most stable value on the Nets this season. If you're invested long-term and need assists, Demin is worth considering a hold/add in many places.

Lonzo Ball

Maybe Add 14 teams Josh: Fantastic assists guy, but not much else. That does not work for everyone

Kyle: Lonzo has streaming/specialist use for most leagues but is best for deeper formats given his minutes restrictions.

Dean Wade

Kyle: Big minutes again, but as he does, Wade waffled with his production despite good opportunity.

Ben Saraf

Kyle: Saraf is a placeholder starter until Demin is cleared to play with less restrictions. Watch, but until the Nets move on from their vets, most of the younger guys are going to struggle to offer reliable value beyond the deepest leagues.

Sam Hauser

Josh: Just another Sam who hits 6 threes. Not reliable, but always an option to consider

Stream Kyle: Hauser's minutes look like they'll be middling even if he's starting most nights. He's a streamer/specialist and someone for deeper leagues. I wouldn't count on reliable production for standards.

Mikal Bridges

Josh: Strong start to the season for Bridges. Only thing that could derail him is an injury (I joke). But I like the diverse stats he has put up so far.

Kyle: The defense keeps coming. Hopefully to stay, but this could be a time to look at sell-high options give Bridges' track record of inconsistency there.

Karl-Anthony Towns

Kyle: Well, that didn't take long for coach Brown to realize that his best option on this roster is to play Towns at center. Even if this is just a matchup thing, it's good for Towns' production in fantasy to know that Brown will lean this way in at least certain situations instead of forcing worse players into the rotation to keep Towns at PF. Now, as for the quad, we may want to consider sell-high options on the chance that becomes a bigger issue. He's playing fine through it now, though, tough.

Chris Boucher

Droppable Josh: A big preseason pump fake. They just aren't using him

Miles McBride

Stream Josh: If he starts, he has 12 team appeal, but Robinson returning and Hart ramping up will huty.

Maybe Add 12 teams Kyle: McBride was supposedly a matchup starter, but considering he's the team's fifth-best player, it wouldn't be surprising to see him hold the job and continue to start most nights, especially if Robinson can't stay healthy.

Anfernee Simons

Josh: The bench role will cap his ceiling as we saw here. Don't drop him, but I would adjust expectations

Kyle: There are reasons to be patient and intrigued by Simons' role on this tanking roster, but he has failed to meet expectations most of his career, so thinking he's going to do anything new on the Cs is a bit grandiose of a notion considering the Cs are a bad team this season.

O.G. Anunoby

Kyle: A sobering night after OG's big opener.

Payton Pritchard

Buy Low Josh: If anyone is worried, it's an easy buy low. MInutes are huge, peripherals are great.

Buy Low Kyle: Huge minutes again. I don't care about an off shooting night. The ceiling for Pritchard this season is IMMENSE when Brown and White are resting a ton going forward. I'd expect 1-5 50-point games potential from Pritchard this season on this empty Cs roster.

Neemias Queta

Josh: No foul trouble, just not a good night. He was better last game, but remember, he isn't good and they can mix and match a lot. I would try to hold in cat leagues

Droppable Kyle: Let him go if there are better upside options on the wire. Way over-rostered by BBM users right now. The upside is not there beyond streaming and specialist use in standard leagues. Queta is a role player who is being shoved into a starting job. It's not going to mean more than middling run most nights.

Josh Hart

Josh: You should hate these minutes. I don't think this is what he does each night, but we have to watch closely and you would drop if it stays like this.

Droppable Kyle: Hart is going to be a streamer and specialist for standards this season if he's coming off the bench and the Knicks are making an effort to play bigger in the frontcourt this season. Sell-high if you can get something good back, but I would also be OK looking at dropping Hart for a great add early. The minutes will be better than this, but coach Brown isn't planning on using Hart nearly as much as Thibs did, and Hart's finger injury is showing it's face with his shooting.

Jaylen Brown

Sell High Kyle: If Brown is healthy and putting up big lines early, I would be seeing what he can bring back in trade. The Cs are tanking and will eventually start reesting Brown regularly, if not looking for. an injury to excuse him for a lot of this season.

Josh Minott

Josh: Shocked to see him out of the rotation.

Kyle: Out of the rotation already.

Maybe Add Kyle: With Missi and Looney out, Queen played huge minutes off the bench and put up a useful line for fantasy. I would be considering an add in many leagues to see where this goes. Queen has the most talent but also could limit himself with erratic play.

Luke Kornet

Maybe Add 14 teams Josh: Foul trouble in gam,e one. but look at how many minutes here. That's a great game and honestly, if he plays this much he will be a must add.

Sell High Kyle: Deeper leagues are going to want at least look at taking a flier on Kornet, and standard leagues will want to watch closely in case the big minutes keep coming, but that's unlikely. Wembanyama had some foul trouble, and the game went to OT, so this is a sell-high game, too.

Zion Williamson

Josh: I think the steals may be real. The ft% are also real unfortunately.

Sell High Kyle: I love the big minutes early, as that should help his trade value. I'd be looking for sell-high options that fit my roster and have less risk.

Jeremiah Fears

Droppable 12 teams Josh: I see no rationale for rostering him in 12 team leagues. ERven though I think he is a stud in the making.

Maybe Add Kyle: Harper's upside and floor are already showing. It may be hopeful to think his role expands much soon, but his talent is going to demand more run, and any injuries to the Spurs could facilitate that. Harper is OK to let go for the right add, but he's also a much better long-term investment than a lot of guys people are rostering right now.

Herb Jones

Josh: Disaster after a great first game.

Hold Kyle: The Herb Reality Show was in full effect for his first two games of the season with a big night and then a blunder. Hold. He'll be better, but this is a part of the game with him, off nights of the worst order.

Stephon Castle

Josh: The ft% is a massive concern and he didn't hit his other shots here. I love his assists uptick, but I do wonder what Fox does to it.

Josh: Perfect Heat game. Benched after one game and goes off in a bench role so we just continue to have no idea what to do. If you have you hold. If you don't I wouldn't prioritise adding.

Maybe Add Kyle: A great game from Jovic, but this came in a blowout win. He's a maybe-add, but this is also a sell-high game with him coming off the bench behind Ware here.

Dru Smith

Josh: I expected stuff like this opening night. He is a steals legend and can be worth a deep league look.

Kyle: Nice work in a blowout win. Nothing to chase.

Jaime Jaquez Jr.

Stream Kyle: Jaquez has streaming value, but his role will likely get squeezed when the Heat are healthier. Go ahead and grab in deeper leagues and stream wherever, but this is mostly a sell-high stretch.

Kel'el Ware

Josh: Started and the scoring is good, but the minutes are bad. Blowout controbuted a lot and we obviously hold, but it's going to be up and down.

Kyle: Ware was great in his start and may win out with good value even if in shorter minutes than we thought would be coming, but this can be treated as a sell-high game, too.

Cedric Coward

Must Add 14 teams Josh: Another strong game. I added him in a 200 player deep league after Game 1 and now I may go a little shallower as well.

Watch Kyle: Coward is an important player to watch this season on the chance bigger minutes. find him as we go. The Grizzlies are in line for a tank, and Coward could benefit a lot in the coming months.

Santi Aldama

Droppable Josh: Much better game but I don't like the role and I think if you drop, you won't regret.

Droppable Kyle: There are probably better options on the wire in standard leagues.

Jaylen Wells

Kyle: Wells' upside is limited, so if you have a better long-term option on the wire, he's OK to dump as needed in standards.

Javon Small

Watch Kyle: Keep tabs on Small on the chance Morant misses time to open streaming or a longer-term role opens.

Ja Morant

Josh: Bad game all around and njow do we have to worry about a rest tomorrow?

Davion Mitchell

Josh: The dwnside of Mitchell is that he isn't a good NBA starter and you will get games like this. Blowout factored in and he remains a hold, but maybe cool off on the idea he keeps a starting spot.

Kyle: I would likely be holding for now with this being a blowout win, but given the eventual return of Herro, Mitchell is OK to drop for a better long-term option, too.

Josh: Sam Robinson added some nice threes and given what they need, his will get opportunities. But it's only a deep league option.

Stream Kyle: Stream for the threes and general upside if huge minutes continue to come, but this is also a sell-high game, as Ron Holland should push for more minutes most nights.

Steven Adams

Maybe Add 14 teams Josh: A game like this is great even for 12s. I think he is more a 14 team guy, but it has been a surprising start.

Sell High Kyle: Another start as the Rockets foolishly put effort into a lineup that won't work long-term given the players they're using. Adams can't stay healthy. This won't persist regardless of whether the team prefers it.

Paul Reed

Josh: The big fella's still got it. When he plays he produces, simple as that. He started here because Duren was ejetced.

Kyle: Foul trouble in the frontcourt opened minutes that won't usually be there for Reed. Just be aware for conditional streaming.

Ron Holland

Maybe Add Kyle: Fouled out in just 13 minutes but still put up a great line that displays Hollands' upside with Ivey out. I would be holding and maybe adding.

Jalen Duren

Buy Low Kyle: Duren was getting annoyed with Amen's defense, pushed Amen in the chest on one possession and then laid an elbow into Amen's face on a run down the lane. Josh: I am holding, but it is looking terrible.

Reed Sheppard

Josh: The steals are awesome, but I hate the role. I will not give him a huge leash, but I am holding for a few more games. Of course if he is your worst player, those guys are always expendable.

Buy Low Kyle: How long until Adams is injured or Sheppard simply finds another path to big minutes? I don't think it'll be long, and his all-around upside is massive. I'm holding very firm and buying low unless my team is absolutely stacked and the wire has an insane player on it.

Jabari Smith Jr.

Kyle: Ugly shooting, but everything else is great. Hold firm and buy low if anything.

Cade Cunningham

Buy Low Josh: He hasn't been bad, but he hasn't been top 5 worthy. People can be impetuous, as you may have seen, so perhaps so if someone is willing to throw him away.

Must Add Josh: Shooting was fantastic, clear must add. He will drop off somewhat, but I think he is clearly better than Bilal and should stay starting.

Must Add Kyle: George is likely already rostered, so if you have him, hold tight, as-in, don't trade him unless you get a GREAT return. This production is mostly real and should maintain even when Coulibaly is back.

Alexandre Sarr

Josh: Two games of 50% shooting. Are we back?

Kyle: Less threes this season to improve his shooting. A nice conscious choice from Sarr as he works to build his game more inside.

Dereck Lively II

Hold Josh: Wasn't foul trouble, but I am holding, barely. Played more AD at centre so I'm sure he will be crying at some point soon.

Sell High Kyle: The Wizards play smaller, so it's not entirely surprising Lively's minutes were short, but it's also a big worry that he's not commanding more run while Gafford is out.

Tre Johnson

Maybe Add 14 teams Josh: Impressive. I think he overtakes Bub before Thanksgiving. If you want to get ahead of it, do it.

Maybe Add Kyle: Johnson is going to take on a larger role as the season goes, and he's already showing more than we were expecting for fantasy, giving intrigue to adding him now and seeing how things progress.

Cooper Flagg

Josh: Still inefficnet, but the numbers are better and this is just a taste. He is literally still 18.

Buy Low Kyle: This is just the start of what Flagg is going to offer as an all-around contributor for fantasy. BUY-LOW.

Sell High Kyle: LaVine isn't someone I'd trust to stay healthy all season, and the Kings invite chaos, so I'd be looking at sell-high options.

Brice Sensabaugh

Sell High Kyle: Sensabaugh is a specialist, streamer, and someone for deeper leagues with his middling role. Sell-high and be willing to drop for a better long-term option.

Dennis Schroder

Sell High Kyle: The minutes will get shorter if the Kings are healthier, so run with Schroder for now but also sell-high if a good option is offered.

Walter Clayton

Watch Kyle: Another solid game from Clayton. Keep tabs on him. He could steal the starting job from George at some point.
