Josh: Did have four fouls, including two early ones, and the blocks and fg% are nice, but the minutes worry. I am still holding and we are seeing flashes.
Kyle: Stewart played fantastic on defense, and it's good it showed in the box score wit his 3 blocks. Foul trouble limited Stewart early, and his ceiling is capped with coach Casey only using Stew and Olynyk in a timeshare at center and not giving them much time together, but Stewart is playing well enough that he should be on someone's roster in most leagues as at least a streamer or flier.
Josh: Nice game with good minutes for Griffin, but still just a deep league option. Without Claxton, naybe some scope to be streamed in the short term
Kyle: Griffin has started to put a little more of his work in the box score in recent games, and he's worth considering as a flier or streamer in deeper leagues and is someone to watch in standards.
Maybe Add 12 teams Josh: It's very hard to project this guy game to game as the numbers keep fluctuating, but he is top 120 now, so that gives some value for 12 team leagues
Stream Kyle: The minutes aren't great, but the production has been nice from Aldridge in recent games. He's worth looking at in deeper leagues and as a streamer or specialist in standards.
Josh: The shooting continues to be poor for Harden, which we assume will correct. Everything else was really solid.
Kyle: Harden was great with his second triple-double of the season, but his scoring has been low and appears to still be in the process of coming back consistently This could be considered another buy-low window for Harden, but the longer this drags on, the more it feels like this is just how he might play all season.
Kyle: Bey has had some struggles so far this season, but he's in a secure role that should define itself more now that Cade Cunningham is setting the stage. If Bey is on the wire in a standard league, I'd be trying to add him, and I'd be holding in most leagues unless there's a great option on the wire with a secure role. His 4 steals tied his career-high.
Hold 12 teams Josh: Poor from the line, but the rest of his game was solid and he does remain a 12 team guy.
Sell High Kyle: Olynyk is in a good enough role in his timeshare at center with Stewart, but there aren't enough minutes coming consistently, so it's hard to consider Olynyk a must-roster, and I'd be looking for opportunities to try selling high if he has some big games, for fear he becomes a drop if Stewart continues to establish himself on defense.
Kyle: CoJo got extra burn with Hayes out, and he played well, but Joseph is just a conditional streamer even when he gets good minutes, so I wouldn't be chasing him. Hayes' thumb injury doesn't seem like it'll keep him out long.
Kyle: Josh got a spot start with Hayes out and Cade shifting to PG. Josh has value as a conditional streamer, but even when he gets good minutes, he's inconsistent, so it's hard to chase him beyond deeper leagues.
Josh: After hitting six triples last game, he didn't do anything here and is only a streamer or specialist for standard formats.
Hold 12 teams Josh: Started at point guard and the scoring volume is nice, but efficiency remains very poor. He should be held.
Kyle: Cade's shot is still coming around, but he makes the Pistons a better team. The bum moves more with him out there, and he's stepping into more of his energy in the NBA, which will be as the no. 1 option on this team. Keeping buying low. This is the floor for Cade, and he's going to get better.
Droppable 12 teams Josh: Quietly dropped outside the top 150 now after a blistering hot start. He is fine to be dropped.
Josh: I rarely gets worse than this. He has had a lot of efficiency issues this season, but this is rock bottom.
Kyle: Grant got his work done on defense but failed to make a single bucket on offense, going 0-for-9 from the field. His minutes are secure, but with Cade taking over primary initiation, we could see Grant's offense become lower in volume but maybe more efficient as we go, despite this night.
