Sell High Kyle: Hayward is playing great and is a must-roster, but he has general injury concerns given his track record and is at risk of losing a lot of value if Bridges takes minutes and touches from Hayward, which seems likely. As such, I'd be looking at my sell-high options for Hayward, hoping to get someone with more reliable long-term value, even if at a lower ceiling.
Must Add Josh: It will be annoying at times, but he shouldn't be on the wire
Sell High Kyle: Gafford is a must-add if on the wire with his great blocks so far this season and secure role, but given his inconsistencies, I'd still be looking at sell-high options, as Gafford doesn't feel like the center of the future for the Wizards as much as a stop gap as they start their rebuild.
Kyle: The monster minutes in recent games are a good sign for Ball's health and upside going forward. He might still be available as a relative buy-low after his slow start to the season.
Josh: There were some rough moments, but he has these capabilities in him.
Kyle: Williams pulled down a franchise record 15 offensive rebounds on his way to a career-high 24 rebounds. He's going to maintain plenty of floor and upside even when the Hornets get Bridges in the mix, but don't be surprised if these big games are littered with some duds, too. I'd only be selling high if a better long-term option is coming back.
Must Add 14 teams Josh: Solid enough game and seems to have starting position locked down.
Must Add 12 teams Kyle: Avdija continues to put up nice all-around production for category leagues and has upside going forward if he commands more minutes, which should be attainable. I'd be adding if still on the wire in any standards, especially 12s.
Josh: Nice bounceback. I feel like he is going to be up and down all season, burt he should be rostered still.
Kyle: Jones' minutes are getting better. I'd ultimately expect him to get traded to a better team that would likely put him into a backup role at PG, so as long as Jones is playing good on the Wizards in the first couple months, I'd be looking for trade options in most leagues.
Josh: Elite production in limited minutes, he is turning into at least an option to stream in 12 team leagues.
Josh: Nice to see the defense here. I continue to worry about Bridges and Rozier, but for now we roster him
Kyle: Great minutes, shots, and nice defense. Miller remains an upside flier/stash and streamer that should be on someone's roster in 12s as he continues to get lots of opportunity to grow and produce more as we go.
Josh: Nice assists, but the injury reduces any 12 team appeal.
Kyle: Wright bumped knees and tried to walk it off but ended up leaving the game and not returning. If he misses time, either the starting lineup gets leaned on more, or Johnny Davis could get more bench run.
Hold Kyle: Just a poor shooting night, as Washington is known to do. His role should be mostly secure even when Bridges is back, and if coach Clifford decides to bring Washington off the bench at some point, I'd still expect him to play great minutes and to be of use in most leagues. I'd only be considering selling high for a legit better long-term option, as there is the chance of dip in role and production coming soon around Bridges' return.
Josh: At some point, it was going to fall away, and it did here.
Kyle: Kuzma is a tough read at the moment. We could look at him as a buy-low and a sell-high from certain perspectives. Ultimately, I'd want to invest in Kuzma's upside for this season at the moment, but I'd also be open to trades going forward as he has a hot stretch. If Kuzma gets traded, it'd likely be to a better team where he'd fill more of a capped role in touches.
Josh: At least he cleared 30 minutes. For all of the gried he gets, he has been very restrained in how many shots he has taken this season, which is killing his fantasy value.
Buy Low Kyle: We're going to look back on this first few weeks of the season as a bizarro world situation with the minutes that the Wizards' starters have been getting.
Must Add Kyle: Bridges should be on someone's roster in most leagues with just 2 more games to sit out for his suspension.
